My lips are naturally quite pale, but one application of this gives a subtle, lovely tint. First off, the artificial cherry scent is so strong it might make you carsick. Although it's called a lip oil, which made me expect hydration, it initially feels a bit sticky and then dries quickly, leaving my lips feeling parched. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 9, 2020
Being an oil tint, it's wonderfully soft and easy to apply. The size is just right, making it convenient to carry around. The cute case also looks great sitting on your desk. However, the color is much lighter than the cherry wine shade described, so you need to apply several layers for the color to really show up. After applying about three layers and topping it with Vaseline or lip balm, it becomes long-lasting and doesn't easily come off. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 24, 2020
This is truly a moisturizing oil tint in every sense of the word... While I found it a bit too sticky, I still appreciated how hydrating it was - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 16, 2020
Before diving into the review, I'm a summer cool-toned light skin type. I accidentally deleted my first review, so I'm writing this in a bit of a frazzled state... Let's get into it! 1. Color Initially, it's a light pink (see photo 1), but over time it transforms into a vibrant pink (check photo 2). The final color is essentially a deep pink. 2. Shine As a summer cool-toned light skin type, dewy lips suit me better than matte ones. This tint gives a beautiful, sparkly shine that's really flattering. 3. Hydration Being an oil tint, it's incredibly moisturizing. You won't need to apply lip balm separately throughout the day. 1. Stickiness As expected from an oil tint, it's quite sticky. Your hair will get caught on it... not great. 2. Application Due to its sticky nature, it applies quite thickly and unevenly. 3. Applicator The applicator is the typical chunky, fuzzy type common in oil tints. I found it uncomfortable to use. 4. Staining There's practically no staining power. It smears easily when drinking, and even bread crumbs stick to your lips. Not ideal for daily use. 5. Price At 8,900 won, I'd recommend spending your money on something else... 6. Messy Cap The formula is quite runny, so the cap gets dirty easily. You'll need to clean it frequently with a tissue or cotton swab (see photo 3). This hydrating oil tint is best suited for winter use. - wl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedNov 9, 2019
I received this product as a gift. Initially, I was worried when I saw it was an oil tint. I thought it might be too oily or not that great, but surprisingly, the Cherry Wine shade is absolutely gorgeous. Personally, I consider it my holy grail tint. Being an oil tint, it feels velvety smooth and is easier to apply. I expected the oil tint to be more hydrating, but it seems to cause some dryness, which was disappointing. Instead of leaving my lips smooth after application, it feels like it dries them out even more as it sets, which was a letdown. Use this oil tint with a lip balm for best results! - mo*************Normal SkinRecommendedNov 5, 2019
● Wow... This is my first time trying an oil tint and it's incredibly moisturizing and lovely. It completely shattered my preconception that tints are always somewhat drying. ● Despite its hydrating formula, the color payoff is quite intense. ● The applicator is plump and soft. ● When pulling out the tint wand, it doesn't come out smoothly and might splatter on your clothes. While the formula itself isn't particularly prone to splattering, you still need to be careful. ● At first, it has a beautiful red tone, but gradually it develops a hot pink undertone. You know, that fuchsia-like shade... - ki*********Combination SkinMay 18, 2019
The color is beautiful, and it has a prettier pigmentation compared to other types of tints. The product tends to leak easily, and its staying power seems to be a bit on the weaker side. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2019
This shade is the most intense among its range, so it gives a noticeable tint. It does stain, but don't expect long-lasting wear from this one. It's best suited for quick outings or short trips. It can be tricky to control the amount when you first use it. I wouldn't recommend this to those who dislike formulas that tend to make skin look shiny. When I'm trying to control the amount, I twirl the applicator inside the tube just before it makes that 'pop' sound when you pull it out. Confused? That's perfectly normal. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2019
The glossy finish allows for a plump lip look! I love that it doesn't make my lips feel tight. As a warm-toned person, I found it difficult to pull off this cool-toned lip color. This is just my personal experience as someone with warm undertones. Also, the staining effect is quite pink. For best results, apply generously all over your lips, wait a minute, then gently blot with a tissue. This improves longevity and brings out a beautiful color. Highly recommended for those with Summer Cool skin tones! - eo******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 31, 2019
The color looks natural, and it provides such moisturizing pigmentation that you don't need a separate lip balm! The subtle fragrance is absolutely charming. I was taken aback because, contrary to the 'Cherry Wine' color description, it's actually a vibrant hot pink. When applied to the lips, it felt very sticky. Being an oil tint, it's better removed with a dedicated makeup remover rather than water. It feels like there's hardly any color payoff.
