It absorbs well and has great absorption. I've used it for years without any blemishes, probably because it's so gentle on the skin. It's a shame it's been discontinued. I also wish it came in a larger quantity. - sj******Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesRednessRecommendedJun 27, 2021
I've been using both the Toleriane and Ultra Light (refreshing version) for several bottles now. They've truly become my holy grail products! However, I noticed that while they're perfect in the morning, my skin feels a bit tight and dry after cleansing in the evening. I thought I might need something richer, but I was too lazy to act on it. Then, while shopping for Ultra Light on the official website, I saw this product on sale for half price and added it to my cart. (It seems buying La Roche-Posay products during sales or with coupons on their official site is the most cost-effective way.) Anyway, I'm extremely satisfied with the results. True to its name 'Ultra Night', compared to Ultra Light, it definitely has a richer, more emollient feel. I was worried it might be too heavy since I dislike overly thick creams, but it's not as heavy as I expected. It applies smoothly, absorbs well, and I'm glad I bought it. If you have dry skin like me, you could probably use Ultra Night as your regular moisturizer without any issues. It's not greasy or heavy at all - just the perfect cream texture. The ingredients are satisfactory, of course. Since I've been using Toleriane and Ultra for a while, I didn't experience any blemishes, and I really love it. The packaging is also fantastic - it has a twist on/off mechanism instead of a separate lid, which I find very convenient. It dispenses just the right amount with each pump, and I usually use three pumps to apply a generous layer. I use Ultra Light during the day and Ultra Night in the evening. My skin feels hydrated and well-moisturized - it's great! There's nothing I dislike about this product. I'm using it with satisfaction. The only thing is I wish it was a bit less expensive for the amount you get. - hy***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2021
I've been using this for over two years now. My skincare routine after cleansing goes: serum, cica cream, then Ultra Night. Applying the night cream as the final step definitely provides a rich feel that locks in moisture, giving a sense of deep hydration. I use it year-round (only for my evening skincare routine) regardless of the season. It's not exactly budget-friendly, and I'm not sure if the results justify the price. After finishing my first jar, I didn't repurchase immediately. But then I found myself missing it... This cycle repeated twice before it finally became a must-have in my routine. Now I make sure to buy a new one before I run out. Over the two years of consistent use, I've experimented with different application orders. I've found that serum, cica cream, then night cream works better than serum, night cream, cica cream. I think it's because the night cream has a richer texture. - mo**************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 12, 2021
I can't really say there's anything good... I bought this because it seemed to be from La Roche-Posay's line of products designed for soothing sensitive skin. Since I've only used ointments before, I noticed the fragrance, but that's probably because I'm particularly sensitive to scents. Other people might not be bothered by it at all. Even though I have seborrheic dermatitis, my skin is also dry, so I've tried all sorts of products. But as soon as I applied this, my pores filled with sebum and my skin felt hot... Those dealing with dermatitis will understand. Thanks to this, I've only realized that my skin still hasn't recovered... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 4, 2021
After using Bioderma products together, my face completely flipped out, so I only used this. Due to Bioderma, I had what seemed like an allergic reaction all over my face (something like blemishes?), but after using this for one night, it calmed down significantly, and thankfully, my skin returned to normal in about 3-4 days. I highly recommend it! When applied, it's not sticky, and it makes your skin feel soft!! It's also convenient to use with its pump dispenser, allowing for just the right amount. It feels a bit pricey for its size, but the performance is so good that I liked it. It's slightly rich, so it might not suit those with very oily skin or during summer, but for me, it was absolutely perfect. If you use this along with La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5, you can get baby-soft skin again. These two products are strongly recommended! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 20, 2021
When my skin was acting up, I only applied this before bed and woke up to find it significantly calmed down It's so good that I use it generously, and before I know it, I'm left with an empty bottle... There's nothing to complain about except the price - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 4, 2021
As a guy, it's super convenient to carry around when I'm out. It's so compact! It's frustrating that I can't see how much product is left inside. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2020
I used this after toner before bed, and it works so gently without any oiliness lasting until the next morning. I love that it doesn't cause any blemishes at all! The container is opaque, so it's impossible to tell how much product is left inside. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 27, 2020
I've been a big fan of the Toleriane line, so I decided to try the night version. However, it's almost identical to the original Toleriane but more expensive. It's marketed as a night product because it focuses more on brightening than soothing. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. I'm not sure if the brightening function is really necessary for this type of product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 15, 2020
It's great for moisturizing without causing any blemishes. It's gentle, but I noticed my skin texture gets a bit rough when I stop using it, so I keep using it consistently. For dry skin, the hydration isn't quite enough, so you'll need to layer it with another cream or emulsion.
