The mousse-like texture means it won't crack, and the easy application is a plus. The coverage is quite good, as expected. It definitely has a soft, powdery feel. While the coverage is quite good, it can result in a thick, cakey look. And for someone like me with uneven texture and large pores, it can look a bit bumpy. It may vary depending on the skin, but it does tend to break down messily and transfer excessively. In the winter, I couldn't wear a white puffer jacket... I can't use it without a mask. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 3, 2018
It would have been nice if the life-sized figurine had not been discontinued.. It could have been purchased for ten thousand won each ㅜㅜ There's nothing, absolutely nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing...... - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 26, 2018
The matte finish is great, it feels comfortable to hold and doesn't slip easily. I'm really satisfied with it and would love to buy another one. The price is also good. The case is quite inconvenient, but it's still a good product. I recommend trying it out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 11, 2018
I wanted a smooth and velvety finish for my oily skin, and this is just perfect - the foundation I've been looking for. My friends have even borrowed it and raved about how great it is. It's wonderful to use in the summer - the texture is so soft and clay-like, matte yet velvety, and it doesn't seem to get shiny as easily. I don't even need a separate primer with this. However, it can feel a bit drying in the winter, especially for oily skin types. Not sure if it's the formula, but it used to make me break out a little at first, though that doesn't happen anymore. If I use a hydrating sunscreen or base first, and then apply this on top, it's just perfection - so velvety smooth! - hy*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 11, 2017
If you like a matte makeup look, I highly recommend this. I'm on my 5th bottle. The coverage is light, but it works well for a natural makeup application. In the winter, it can sometimes make my face feel a bit dry and itchy, but that's because my skin is dry. I'm dealing with it and still using it. The coverage is a bit low. Using the Skinfood wedge puff with this is amazing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 9, 2017
I'm on my third bottle of this and I'm widely spreading the word to my friends, calling it my life essential item haha. First of all, even in the winter, my skin is not at all dry and tight, it's just constantly oozing oil + huge pores + redness. But this product has endured my skin. I've tried double wear too, but you know how it dries up quickly and it's hard to apply, right? I'm busy, when do I have time to carefully absorb the base and pat it down? That's why I like this mousse foundation even more. Even when it breaks down, it mixes with the oil and breaks down beautifully, with little darkening and no need for powder! The surface is super fluffy but it's not drying at all haha I've had powder sitting around for ages without using it. Ah, another good point I just thought of is that a small amount covers a wide area. The texture may seem like the coverage won't be much, but I think it's medium to high coverage. Dark and dot-like spots need to be covered with a concealer though. I've tried applying it with my hands, damp and dry sponges, wedge puffs, flat foundation brushes, etc. but the angled round brush (like a toothbrush) works the best!!!! I'm not sure about now, but back then the mousse foundation used to come with a brush, but that was actually not great. It's not strong enough for applying this foundation and the bristles are too long, so it just glides around without adhering well, and it doesn't cover the pores either. The amount is quite generous and dense, but the size isn't too big. I just dab it on (firmly) starting from the cheek area with the lots of pores, and even without a primer, most of the pores get covered. This way, I can apply it all over the face with just a small amount, so the foundation lasts me over a year (and my face isn't even that small haha). Ah, and the nose area can look cakey if you apply it wrong, but this actually fills in the pores and makes the nose look smooth and poreless, like a natural beauty haha. The shape is not a U shape, but more like... an oval shape? Or like a finger pointing up? Ugh, the limitations of this language ㅠㅠ The bottom part is wider than the opening. Anyway, because of this shape, when I use up the mousse foundation and see the bottom, there's a lot left on the sides that's really hard to scrape out ㅠㅠ. I try to gather it in the middle and use it, but then it slowly spreads back out to the sides again haha, so I end up transferring it to another container to use. Ah, and touch-ups are difficult ㅠㅠ But I don't really do touch-ups anyway, since I'm so oily. I just blot the oil with a tissue, and for touch-ups, I just reapply on my lips. Trying to remove and reapply outside is a hassle because the container is glass and heavy, and I'd have to carry the brush around. Plus, if you mess with the skin too much during touch-ups, you can get flaky patches ㅠㅠ It's so frustrating when you see those cracks appearing. I've already covered the tips pretty thoroughly above. But I really, really recommend the angled, slanted brush!!!! However, the toothbrush-like brush is not recommended, because it doesn't fit into the opening ㅋㅋ. At first, when the product amount is still a lot, you may not notice, but as you use it more, you'll be like "Oh, I can't get this in there ㅋㅋ it doesn't reach" That's it! +++ Nooo, why did they discontinue my holy grail product?? ㅠㅠㅠ - k0**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsSep 28, 2017
The color is closer to 23 than 21. There is almost no darkening. The formula has a <<chiffon-like texture>> that glides smoothly over uneven surfaces when applied with a dabbing motion. The texture is really unique and makes me want to keep touching it. It's so bouncy and supple. While many reviews describe it as matte, it's not dry at all - it's more like a primer formula with a natural, non-shiny finish. When mixed with the oil from your face, it breaks down naturally and seamlessly. The smell is like a preservative. It's not surprising that it's a cream-type foundation, as it's also packaged in a jar. While the preservatives are likely necessary for hygiene, they're probably not great for the skin. Normally when I use foundation, I experience some degree of itchiness, but this one feels even more irritating than others. The adhesion is completely lacking, even from the first application. (Based on my experience, adhesion and a 'cracked egg' effect on textured skin tend to be inversely related, so that's probably why.) To prevent it from transferring, I have to lightly powder over it when touching up. Honestly, I've given up on the adhesion... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 18, 2017
I was actually using a Nars product before, but as summer approached, it became too oily and I was looking for something more powdery and hydrating... That's when I accidentally discovered this. It's just the right amount of powdery, doesn't get cakey, and most importantly, it feels great when applied. I also don't have to worry about it darkening, since I'm not one to retouch my makeup throughout the day - I just apply it in the morning and it holds up nicely until I get home, gradually getting a bit more dewy as the day goes on. The formula itself is a mousse, but when I scoop it out with my fingers or a sponge, it sometimes picks up dust which is a bit annoying. The coverage is also not the strongest, so I need to apply an additional layer of a lighter foundation on top. It seems to work better when you just gently press and spread it on the skin, rather than stippling it with a sponge. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 12, 2017
The formula is very smooth and easy to apply, even without a puff or brush. The coverage is excellent - it's the best foundation I've tried in terms of coverage. It also controls oil well and has great longevity. 1. The shade is too dark. 2. It caused breakouts... My skin completely broke out after using this. Even though it has many good points, I cannot recommend it due to the acne-causing issue. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 12, 2017
The texture is nice. It feels moisturizing when applied, but leaves a soft, powdery finish. The color has a slightly yellowish and dark tone. Even considering that, it gets quite dry and flakes off after a while.
