This product offers both hydration and a rich feel. As someone with dry skin, I recommend it for those with similar skin types due to its oil content. However, I'd advise against it for those with oily skin as it might clog pores. I always applied it before bed, and while it kept my skin from feeling dry until I fell asleep, I did notice some dryness upon waking. This seems to be the case with any product I use, so it might be unavoidable. There was no pilling, and it didn't cause any irritation. It feels like it helps combat deep dryness. I felt like the oil sat slightly on top of my skin. Although it claims to have brightening and anti-wrinkle effects, I didn't notice these benefits. Apart from that, I'm satisfied with the product and continue to use it. - du*****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessJul 23, 2021
Skin type: • Dry, thin, and easily flushed skin, lacking both oil and moisture • Shade 19-21, likely Light Spring with deep undertone Although it's an oil-based product, it's not too heavy, so even those with combination or oily skin might find it suitable for winter use! I really appreciated that the packaging is made of glass rather than plastic. When I applied this, it caused red blemishes on my skin, so I ended up giving it to my mother. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2021
It absorbs incredibly well! It really sinks right into the skin. You can feel the perfect balance of hydration and richness. Hmm... There weren't really any major downsides. Just keep in mind that if you're looking for intense hydration, this might not be enough on its own! - rp********Dry SkinRecommendedMar 21, 2021
I have dry/sensitive skin :) I use oil throughout the seasons except summer, but there was a time when I used an overly oily oil in the spring as the weather was getting warmer, and my skin ended up in a mess 😭 Even though I have dry skin, products that are too oily feel heavy and make my skin feel stuffy, so I find them burdensome. However, the [Neogen White Truffle Oil-in Serum] is one of the lighter oils, and for some reason, there is no stuffy feeling after application. Instead, my skin feels more moisturized and has a nice glow to it 😬 Other oil products would leave a sticky residue on my hands, but this one has a refreshing finish without any of that inconvenience, so I think I'll stick with it! 🥰 The pump is a bit stiff, so the oil squirts out with a pop every time I pump it, and it has ended up getting on my clothes a few times,, - rj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 21, 2021
♥Mist as a serum replacement! I love that using this mist feels like applying a serum without the dryness. It's really amazing! ♥Smooth skin after use The reason I bought this was because when I first tried it as a tester, the area where I sprayed it felt silky smooth even the next day! That's what convinced me to purchase it! :) ♥Gentle spray Often when you buy mists, unless it's a fine mist, they tend to spray unevenly on your face. But this one, despite having a pump-like spray, distributes evenly and nicely! 💔Gets drying towards the end of use This product has two layers - oil and water - so you need to shake it before use. However, I'm on my third bottle now, and I've noticed that towards the end, there's hardly any oil layer left, just the water layer at the bottom. Even after shaking, it leaves my skin feeling tight. It's great to keep in the bathroom for a quick spritz after cleansing and before applying toner. It provides rapid hydration! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinFeb 15, 2021
Skin type: Atopic, combination dehydrated (extremely dry in winter), sensitive, occasional blemishes Causes blemishes: No Texture: It's an oil drop formula, so I thought it might be a bit oily, but not at all! It's closer to a water-like consistency and has a runny texture. Please refer to the photo. Size: It fits in one hand, smaller than expected. You'll notice it decreases quickly with each use. Feels a bit pricey for the amount. Absorption: Absorbs well, but if you apply too much, it can sit on the surface. Hydration: Not impressive... Using it alone doesn't solve deep dryness. Overall review: I bought this because it was recommended for combination dehydrated skin at Olive Young, but I didn't find it particularly great, nor was it bad. It's truly just so-so. My skin never broke out or developed blemishes, but I didn't feel it was moisturizing, helped with skin barrier, or improved my skin. Just an average product. I'm going to try something else. I'm not sure if it's particularly good. Please refer to the overall review for details! - dl********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2021
I've been using this for years now. I have extremely dry skin, and after applying toner, I use this oil drop serum before my moisturizer. When I apply it, it feels like it perfectly addresses my dehydrated skin. My skin instantly feels comfortable and hydrated. Although it's an oil serum, it's not oily at all. It has a lightweight, moisturizing texture that absorbs into the skin without any stickiness, so I think it would be great for combination dehydrated skin too. I have super sensitive skin that reacts quickly if a product doesn't suit me or if I use too much, making me a real skincare nomad. But this product causes no blemishes at all and is truly a godsend for me. The scent is almost unnoticeable, so it doesn't bother me. While the volume is on the smaller side, it's absolutely essential for me. As long as it's not discontinued, I'll probably use it for life. For dehydrated skin, this oil drop serum is undoubtedly the best. It's a shame it's not more well-known considering how effective it is. Without exaggeration, I've used over 10 bottles of this! The volume seems too small for the price, and it's expensive if not on sale. I only buy it when it's discounted at Olive Young. The thin consistency means it gets used up quickly, so honestly, the price is a bit burdensome for continuous use. However... it's an indispensable daily item that I can't give up! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2020
Great for a light application when your skin needs extra moisture. I mainly use it during dry seasons. I'm not sure if it's good to use continuously... but when I stop using it and then start again, it seems to work well... - de******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2020
Oh... Why is this in the oil category? Haha! It seems more like a rich serum to me. Anyway, it works well. Despite containing oil, it doesn't feel overly greasy when applied - just the right amount of richness. It also seems to provide some hydration and moisture. Unlike applying pure oil, which can make my face feel tight, this doesn't have that effect at all. I can't think of any downsides yet. Maybe it's a bit heavy for oily skin types in summer? But I can't really call that a disadvantage since it seems like a perfect product for my combination skin from fall through spring... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 23, 2020
I always felt like emulsion creams weren't quite enough, but this one seems to tackle even deep dryness, which I love. It has a slippery texture, but as you massage it in, it absorbs cleanly, leaving a satisfying feeling! There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. The container is just a tad heavy.
