Well... I bought this because of all the great reviews, but I couldn't find anything particularly good about it, unfortunately. 1) The tone is too dark for users with lighter skin (shade 21). After application, there's a yellowish dark tint, and it even causes some darkening effect. 2) Poor adherence for dehydrated skin types. It doesn't stick well when first applied, but I've never seen a cushion that sits this badly on the skin... 3) Medium coverage at best. It would have been better if at least the coverage was good, but it's just so-so... In conclusion, it's not a product worth spending money on.... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 31, 2019
First off, I loved how moisturizing it was and how well it covered my skin! There's some darkening, and if I wear it all day, by evening it starts to break down in an unsightly way. A solid skincare routine is absolutely essential! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 6, 2018
I love how moisturizing it is. Even with my sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any blemishes. The shade is on the darker side, and even when applied sparingly, it creates a thick skin appearance. The puff picks up too much product. It leaves marks when applied and can cause darkening of the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJun 3, 2018
The coverage is great and it feels wonderfully moisturizing It has no staying power and causes significant darkening of the skin - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 9, 2017
The coverage was great and it applied well, leaving a soft and fluffy finish that I really liked. Over time, it did tend to darken a bit, which was a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 12, 2017
First, the case is luxurious The puff is also nice and dense The coverage is not bad either Personally, the foundation itself from Laneige's basic cushion product fit me much better (I can't remember the product name) Strangely, when I used the ex cushion, my face felt itchy It's itchy, and just a light touch leaves nail marks... Not to mention hair marks I didn't apply it too thickly either ㅠㅠ Whether it's just my imagination or not, the darkening also felt quite severe There were also uneven textures This is just my personal review My friend says she found her holy grail cushion and is using it well - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 1, 2017
The coverage is amazing, and the adherence is also amazing. The cushion is so dense that it applies like a dream when you pat it on. The application is also great. It looks too heavily made up, and since I use shade 21, it doesn't match, so it looks like I've applied thick mud, and there's noticeable darkening. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 26, 2017
The coverage is decent, and... I saw a YouTuber's product and bought it because of their positive review. As they mentioned, it has a slight sheen, and I think it would be good for oily skin. It's quite matte. Dry-skinned folks will need to do a good skincare routine and apply it carefully. Also, the longevity is not great, and it doesn't look nice when it breaks down... It leaves a very dark cast, and over time, it even lifts around the nose area. Most importantly, I think I chose the wrong shade - when I wear this, my face looks greyish... The other 21 shades didn't have this issue, unfortunately. I don't have any particular tips to share. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 30, 2016
I used the Laneige Moisture 21 and then purchased the Moisture EX 21. The EX is definitely brighter than the Moisture. The EX has a slightly grayish base compared to the yellow base of the original Moisture, which makes it look more radiant and fresh. The EX is less moisturizing than the Moisture, so those with dry skin will need to have a good skincare routine. Using the included puff makes it look cakey. When comparing it to the Moisture, it's only slightly brighter, so I didn't worry about purchasing it, but in reality, it has a very gray cast. Using the Aritaum puff makes the color look more natural. The product doesn't seem to transfer well onto the puff, so the case may stay clean, but the application and adherence on the face are poor. Update: Even with a good skincare routine, it cracks and flakes in the cold winter winds. Misting the puff doesn't help either. It cracks and emphasizes flakiness more than the Thesaem concealer I used as a base. Not recommended for those with dry skin. Try using a different puff if the included one doesn't work for you. The Aritaum Iope puff absorbs the product well, so you may need to use a bit more, but it applies and adheres much better.
