I compared it to the Etude foundation, which is said to be a cheaper version of Estée Lauder Double Wear, and this one actually performed better for redness coverage. I also love how it gives a matte finish for a cushion foundation. Despite the matte look, it doesn't feel drying on the skin. The coverage is also pretty decent.
ConsIt looks fine for the first couple of applications, but as expected, it starts to pill when you layer it. It tends to emphasize dead skin cells, and being a cushion foundation, its staying power isn't particularly impressive. When applied without a base, it breaks down quite quickly.
TipI usually apply it once initially, then for touch-ups later, I use a MAC pressed powder foundation for my reapplication.

To be honest, my skin is a bit... troubled. Usually, I need thick makeup to cover blemishes, but this product provided good coverage while applying thinly. I even used it alone when I felt lazy about doing a full face of makeup. 2. Not drying at all! Despite having oily skin, I somehow prefer products that aren't matte. I like properly moisturizing products. This one wasn't too greasy, which I loved (though by afternoon, it gets a bit...) 3. The amount is surprisingly generous!
ConsWell... the price is a bit... But in my opinion, this product is worth every penny.
TipI found a great routine: apply the cushion in the morning, use a brightening moisturizer with SPF around noon, then touch up with the cushion again around 3-5 PM. It creates a beautiful skin finish without looking cakey.

But Hera's cushion is a game-changer! It doesn't cause any flaking, covers my atopy-induced blemishes beautifully, and doesn't have an overpowering scent. The case is absolutely stunning too. I've been using it for about five years now, and I'm still loving it!
ConsAs my atopic condition improved, my skin changed and I started developing small, bumpy blemishes. While I can't say for certain it's because of this product, I've noticed quite a few reviews mentioning similar issues after using Hera. It's something to be aware of.
TipSince it provides such good coverage, layering it too much can make your makeup feel heavy. It works best when applied lightly over foundation for touch-ups throughout the day!

But I received this as a gift and started using it again. Compared to what I was using before, it's less drying. And I must say, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! It seems they've paid more attention to addressing dryness with this version.
ConsHow should I put this... Maybe it's because I have dry skin, but no matter how thoroughly I apply my skincare and then this product, my makeup still looks patchy. Especially around the sides of my nose, cheeks, and chin areas, it slightly separates. The color doesn't exactly brighten, but rather tends to turn a bit yellowish. That's disappointing.
TipIf you have extremely dry skin, you might be better off using a different product than this one.

I've gone through about 3-4 compacts, and the effects have been consistently good. When you want a natural look, just dab it on once or twice for a flawless, translucent finish. They recently released a limited edition version, which I snagged at a great price using a coupon. The gratis items were generous too. The complimentary lipstick and lip gloss came in lovely shades. Plus, it came with three pretty patterned puffs, which is great for frequent changing.
ConsThe ingredients list is a bit disappointing, I must admit. With the current trend of reducing chemical ingredients, the formulation could use some improvement.
TipFor my routine, I start by cleansing with toner, then apply a light layer of moisturizer, followed by a small amount of sunscreen. I spread a thin layer of BB cream, then lightly pat on the Hera cushion for a natural finish. Since I rarely wear eye makeup and prefer a barely-there look, Hera is perfect for me. I complete the look with a subtle application of Dior lipstick.
