First off, it does a great job covering redness. I compared it to the Etude foundation, which is said to be a cheaper version of Estée Lauder Double Wear, and this one actually performed better for redness coverage. I also love how it gives a matte finish for a cushion foundation. Despite the matte look, it doesn't feel drying on the skin. The coverage is also pretty decent. It looks fine for the first couple of applications, but as expected, it starts to pill when you layer it. It tends to emphasize dead skin cells, and being a cushion foundation, its staying power isn't particularly impressive. When applied without a base, it breaks down quite quickly. I usually apply it once initially, then for touch-ups later, I use a MAC pressed powder foundation for my reapplication. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 10, 2018
The coverage seems pretty decent, and the case has a uniquely beautiful design. Unfortunately, there's not much product inside. It has a slightly matte finish, which might not be ideal for summer use, and the staying power is rather short. When used together with a face oil, it helps calm down the skin that previously felt a bit heavy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2018
This cushion foundation was my introduction to makeup, and it's absolutely fantastic! The design is gorgeous, and I love that it doesn't settle into pores. It's been a great experience overall. The disappointing aspect was its lack of long-lasting adherence. After about 4-5 hours in a warm environment, I'm not sure if it's just my skin, but it feels like the entire base collapses, taking all the makeup with it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 15, 2018
It adheres well to the skin, making makeup application a breeze. If you apply it generously, it seems to last for quite a long time. It appears to clog pores significantly, which might increase the likelihood of causing blemishes. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinNov 3, 2017
At first, I was disappointed because it seemed to have no coverage and didn't even out my complexion as well as my previous cushion. However, as I continued using it, I noticed my skin looked naturally better. Also, when touching up my makeup, it didn't cake and even when it faded, it did so beautifully. I'm still using it! The biggest drawback seems to be its lack of coverage and that it's hard to expect any significant improvement in evening out skin tone. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopic SkinSep 29, 2017
The convenience of use is a plus. It doesn't make you look overly made-up. I'm currently using it, and I'm not sure if it's just my skin, but when I apply it, I feel like my skin turns yellowish? It also makes my skin look shiny and feels like it's sitting on top of my skin. I have oily skin, and unfortunately, this didn't work well for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 22, 2017
The coverage was excellent! I didn't even need to use concealer and had no issues going out. Even though it was shade 21, it was darker than the cushions I usually use, so I had to pair it with other brightening products. It's slightly dark, so it works well when used in combination with other products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 5, 2017
1. The coverage was great! To be honest, my skin is a bit... troubled. Usually, I need thick makeup to cover blemishes, but this product provided good coverage while applying thinly. I even used it alone when I felt lazy about doing a full face of makeup. 2. Not drying at all! Despite having oily skin, I somehow prefer products that aren't matte. I like properly moisturizing products. This one wasn't too greasy, which I loved (though by afternoon, it gets a bit...) 3. The amount is surprisingly generous! Well... the price is a bit... But in my opinion, this product is worth every penny. I found a great routine: apply the cushion in the morning, use a brightening moisturizer with SPF around noon, then touch up with the cushion again around 3-5 PM. It creates a beautiful skin finish without looking cakey. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinMay 5, 2017
I've used Vely Vely and IOPE cushions before. The coverage of this one seems average, but considering how moisturizing it is, it's not bad at all. The best thing about this product is that it's hydrating and doesn't feel heavy when applied. I have dry skin, and I felt a lot of hydration while using this. Compared to other products with good coverage, this one might fall a bit short. The adherence is good at first, but it starts to wear off after 2-3 hours. How should I put it... you need to touch up consistently. Also, after using it for a while, you'll notice there's quite a bit of foundation at the bottom of the sponge, but it doesn't transfer to the cushion, which is quite inconvenient and makes you feel like there's less product than there actually is. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2017
I bought the yellow-beige shade because I have redness, and at first I thought it might be too yellow. But after finishing my makeup, I didn't really notice that effect. It's great at covering my redness, and the limited edition case looks so luxurious! My friends even said my skin looks better when I wear this. And the coverage is truly amazing!!!!!!! However, as time passes, I noticed it looks a bit more yellow than my previous cushion foundation. Despite being a moisture formula, it feels quite dry in winter, and it flaked a bit around my nose. It's only manageable if I apply a generous amount of moisturizer underneath. Even though it's a moisture formula, it can be dry and flaky in winter. If you use primer for your pores, only apply it around your nose, not on your cheeks. If you put it on your nose wings, it will flake and peel off later! Make sure to apply plenty of moisturizer and let it absorb before applying the foundation.
