The fragrance is a delicate floral scent that I think everyone would enjoy... It cleanses the skin well, but it struggles to remove mascara in particular Just use it for skin cleansing - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2021
- Has a subtle, perfume-like scent that's not unpleasant - Non-irritating - More product than expected - Doesn't remove makeup effectively (When used as a first cleanse, it takes at least three wipes to remove even basic makeup, let alone eye makeup, before the cotton pad comes away clean) - Feels drying and causes skin to feel tight after a while, possibly because I'm used to cleansing oils - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2021
The scent is lovely. It leaves a refreshing feeling. The pleasant fragrance lingers even after cleansing. After cleansing, it feels like there's a film on the skin. While it might provide hydration, it feels slightly heavy, giving the impression that the cleansing wasn't thorough. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 18, 2019
First off, the packaging is so pretty it catches your eye. The pleasant scent is also a plus, making it easy to use. I only apply sunscreen without makeup, and personally, I find it removes easily. There's a slight feeling of heaviness. As someone with blemish-prone skin, I prefer lighter products, but this one feels like it creates a film on my face. Also, the ingredients... PEG is listed way too high up. While it didn't cause any major blemishes, after checking the ingredient list, I'm hesitant to reach for it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2019
1. Clean and Fresh - Cleanses thoroughly and effectively 2. Pleasant texture and scent - Neither greasy nor drying, with a nice, subtle fragrance. I used to use Bobbi Brown cleansing oil, but this is much more refreshing, so I'm very satisfied Slight tingling sensation in the eyes, but much less compared to other products - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 22, 2018
I bought this as a set with the water and foam cleanser shortly after it was released. The simple packaging initially made me a bit skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised. My experience was that it's gentle on the skin and cleanses effectively. I also loved the scent. While some might find the quantity a bit lacking, I personally prefer not to use one product for too long, so the size was actually perfect for me. I wish the container had a pump. Having to pour it out means it's sometimes hard to control the amount, and you can end up with too much product. It would have been better if it had a pump dispenser like a face wash. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 3, 2018
Refreshing and lightweight. The scent is pleasant too. I soak cotton pads with it, store them in the container, and keep it in the fridge. When I take them out to use for cleansing, it feels wonderfully cool. The price is a bit steep... After cleansing with it on a cotton pad, there's a slightly oily feeling on the skin. It works well both as a cleanser and in my skincare routine. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 27, 2018
True to Huxley's style, the design is simple and clean, making it visually appealing. It also has that signature Huxley scent that I personally adore. It puts me in a good mood every time I use it! Since I remove my eye makeup separately with a lip and eye remover, I found the cleansing effectiveness for face makeup to be perfectly adequate. What I really appreciated was that unlike other cleansing waters that left my skin feeling tight and dehydrated, this Huxley product didn't cause any deep dryness at all. Instead, it maintained my skin's hydration, which was fantastic. It has a slight oily feel to it, which I like because it gives a sense of moisturization. I enjoyed this finish, but if anyone feels like there's residue left, you can always follow up with a foam cleanser. So I don't think it's something to worry about too much. The only downside is that the volume is small, so it runs out quickly. Other than that, it's a completely satisfying product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 24, 2018
It's clean, comfortable to use, and I really liked it. The scent is pleasant too. There's nothing disappointing or bad about it. Even with my acne-prone skin, it worked well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 25, 2017
1. The color and packaging are beautiful... This is why I bought it haha 2. The fragrance is nice 3. My face does not feel tight after using it 1. It's incredibly oily ㅜㅜ I like cleansing waters that are refreshing like Bioderma, but this one is so, so, so, so oily. I can feel the suffocating heaviness on my face. 2. It doesn't cleanse well. When I use my usual cleansing water, I use 3 layers of Innisfree cotton pads, soaking them thoroughly and gently wiping, but it still doesn't remove the chemical and physical residue;; Even after double cleansing, there's still residue left... The leftover residue causes breakouts the next day ㅋ Just to be sure, I wiped it with Huxley cleansing water the next day and then with Bioderma, and a lot of residue came off. I wonder why this cleansing water can't even properly remove the residue... This is so oily that I can't even use it to clean my brush puff ㅜㅜ For cleansing waters like this, if you have a bubble maker, you can put it in instead of water to slightly improve the cleansing power of a poor cleansing gel or foam... But it would be a waste to use this expensive cleansing water that way, so just don't buy this...ㅜㅜㅜㅜ I found out that you can use this cleansing water to clean white leather shoes, and tried it on the ones I was struggling with, and it worked great ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Cleaning with dedicated leather cream often causes the stitching to clump, but since this is just wiping with a cotton pad, there's no such worry.
