The hydrating and gentle formula isn't irritating at all. I think I could steal this for myself without any issues! They say the tea tree ingredient is great for men's skin that gets irritated from shaving. It has a masculine scent typical of men's cosmetics. The cleansing effectiveness seems more than adequate. I tested it on my arm where I had applied foundation, and it cleaned it off impressively well. You can visually see the foundation color washing away immediately. I suspect they've made the cleansing power quite strong, considering men might find it bothersome to use a separate cleansing oil. Along with the typical scent of men's cosmetics, there's a slightly unpleasant chemical odor mixed in. I'm a bit concerned since it's reported to contain many ingredients that might not be good for the skin. When washing my face, it really stings my eyes. Usually, regular foam cleansers don't cause this level of tingling sensation...

I personally liked it as it's not a sharp, alcohol-like fragrance, but rather a calm, settled, and mature aroma. It lathers up nicely and cleanses gently without irritation. The rich, fluffy texture makes for a pleasant user experience. What's particularly great is how clean it leaves your skin feeling afterwards. There's no dryness or oiliness - it doesn't leave your skin feeling tight or greasy. Even though I occasionally get blemishes, I've been using this comfortably after workouts without any irritation. There are quite a few ingredients to be cautious about. I'd recommend testing it gently on your skin first and only continue using if you don't have any reactions. I didn't experience any adverse effects. It lathers up well and adheres nicely to the skin, making it great for shaving. The cleansing effectiveness and rinsing could be better. Plus, it's quite pricey...

DTRT, please, either remove the fragrance or use a different one... I wrote a 10sec review not long ago, and while the 10sec product's scent wasn't great, this one is even worse. I was excited when I unwrapped the silver packaging, thinking 'Yay! A new cleansing foam!' But the moment I lathered it up and applied it to my face, my brow furrowed due to the smell. After washing, my hands smell like public bathhouse lotion. I usually try to give helpful tips, but there are countless cleansing foams out there with better prices, better fragrances, or better ingredients than this one. They should really start by either changing or removing the scent...

The scent is also nice, with a cool, masculine fragrance that's not unpleasant. As it's a men's product, it seems to work better for oily skin types. It really does leave your skin feeling squeaky clean. I was curious about the ingredients so I looked them up, and I was surprised to find there were more potentially harmful ingredients than I expected. The cleansing effectiveness is great, so I use it with oil for double cleansing after heavy makeup. I love how it leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. However, as I have dry skin, using it daily would be too harsh for me. 
Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 10, 2017The cleansing effectiveness was really impressive. If you enjoy that squeaky-clean feeling, you'll probably love this! It contains too many harmful ingredients, and the scent is reminiscent of an old-fashioned men's aftershave, which is a bit... disappointing.
