4.5 stars I was looking for a cushion that's moisturizing yet natural-looking, and that's when I discovered this product! Since I don't really have blemishes, I loved how the coverage was beautifully sheer and transparent. It seemed to wear off gracefully too. The glow is incredible and makes my skin look so healthy! This seems perfect for winter use. It really shines on those with already good skin Hmm... it's a bit sticky, so my hair tends to stick to it. But I managed fine by lightly dusting some powder on top. Color: I was torn between Vanilla and Petal, but decided to go lighter and chose this one. However, it's a bit darker than it appeared in photos. I bought it hoping for a brightening effect, but it's more of an exact match for my skin tone. I would have seriously regretted getting Vanilla (I'm guessing a light 22 or yellow-toned 21?) Don't forget to set your T-zone with powder! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 23, 2018
The coverage is light, and as it's a morning glow cushion, it gives a dewy and radiant finish! When I first opened it and gently rubbed the mesh with my finger, something like an essence came out! (Just an observation...) It felt a bit sticky. When I patted it with the puff, I could hear a slight tacky sound. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJun 16, 2018
I bought this hoping for a moisturizing product, but it's more sticky than hydrating. It's good for touch-ups though. The case is pretty and the mirror is clean. If I apply it in the morning and touch up around 11 AM, it lasts until about 5 PM. It applies too thinly, so it takes a long time to put on. The formula feels heavy and obvious on the skin. If you have a heavy skincare routine underneath, it applies unevenly and looks messy. Without powder, it's sticky, but with powder, the pilling is no joke. It actually makes my skin look worse and it's obvious I'm wearing makeup. It doesn't cover pores or provide much coverage in general, so I end up having to layer it on. People ask me, 'Why did you apply such thick makeup?' My face gets itchy, like something's constantly sticking to it. If I don't remove the makeup late at night, it gets super itchy and I break out in hives like mosquito bites. Use a ton of oil control powder, seriously, it's not great otherwise. Not good on its own, but okay for touch-ups. A no-go for summer, but works in winter. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 28, 2017
The skin expression is moisturized and glossy. It looks bright and nice. It's suitable for dry skin and touch-up makeup. It feels heavy and sticky. It seems to rub off and the adhesion is not very good. It feels like it's sitting on the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSep 6, 2017
I use shade 21, which is a slightly darker 22 with a warm tone. The case is really tailored to my taste.. I love Etude! It's slimmer than regular cushions, so it's convenient for carrying around, and the mirror is wider, so it's much easier to see clearly compared to regular cushion mirrors! As someone with dry skin, I usually use a moisturizing cushion, but this one wasn't drying at all. The glow on my face was so pretty, and it was suitable for achieving a natural skin expression! It wasn't burdensome to use in the summer, and while there was a slight stickiness, lightly powdering the cheek area, forehead, and chin helped reduce the stickiness while maintaining a subtle glow. It allowed for a transparent skin expression. I highly recommend this to those who like a natural makeup look like me! I'm a warm-toned 22, and the Petal color didn't make me look too floaty, and my skin had a brownish tone without looking red. Compared to Sand or Beige, Petal seemed to express more radiance. Of course, the color may differ depending on the individual, but Sand was a bit too dark for my skin, and Beige had a slight yellow base, so I purchased Petal and am very satisfied.💕 The color is so pretty! I highly recommend this to those with dry skin, shade 22, and who love a transparent skin look!❤️ There was a bit of transfer, which was a bit disappointing. And while it has some moisture, it felt more like oil than actual hydration, so I wouldn't say it's an extremely dewy cushion. When I used it, the dry areas on my cheeks and between my brows would sometimes look cakey. It's not terrible, but it's not the best either. And when I used powder, it would accentuate the dryness, but this product is quite sticky, so I had to use powder, which was a bit of a bummer. Of course, it still gave a beautiful skin-like finish, but for my skin type, the powdering made it feel a bit dry, and the stickiness was a downside. Since I don't prioritize coverage that much, it wasn't a huge issue for me, but because it aims for a transparent, natural skin look, the coverage is really minimal. Keep this in mind when purchasing. I wouldn't really recommend this to those who prioritize oil control, combination skin, or full coverage. ㅜㅜ The built-in puff is a regular air puff, but the cushion has a mesh net, so they don't really work well together. I'd recommend getting a damp sponge or the Missha Tension Pact puff to use with it. That's what I've been doing as well. ☺️ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 3, 2017
The skin expression is very bright and white. They say the coverage is weak, but I thought it was okay. First of all, the transfer is too severe, and even 3 days after application, it's still there^^ It really turns into a volcano, it's so sticky and sticky, and I'm really disappointed. I gave it 2 stars because of the skin expression, but I don't use it anymore. Goodbye, it's a disaster. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 12, 2017
When I bought it during the sale, I could see that my skin looked brighter when I applied it. It's not that it looks artificially brightened by being applied thickly, but rather it gives a glow from within the skin itself. The name 'Morning Glow' seems to suit it well. After applying it a few times, it became difficult to apply. When I layered it, it felt strangely sticky. The coverage was quite poor, so I ended up having to keep layering it. And it also seemed to slip around a bit. On my skin, it caused quite a bit of darkening. The area around my nose became completely broken down, making my original skin look dull. It also settled into the creases around my eyes. And above all, the puff was not very good. It would be better to apply it with a brush or a different puff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 2, 2017
It seems different from the previous products, so I bought it. It has a unique feel and is affordable like Etude House. I was tempted by the Marvel character in the ad and bought it^^;; I've been using it once in a while whenever I think of it, and it feels moisturizing when applied. The case is cute. The application was moderate, and the coverage was about average. Personally, I found the brush that came as a gift more thorough in application than the puff. First, the new filter... sank to the bottom as I used it, so it was inconvenient to use the puff later. And when using the puff, it didn't cover the pores well, rather accentuating them, so I had to apply it with a brush on the nose bridge and nose wing area. And when I scratched it with my hand after applying, it felt flaky. I don't like a dewy look, and this has a bit of a sticky feel, though not overly shiny. It's just a cheap price kind of product. I haven't found a single makeup item that I really like for going out so far, so it's been hard to find a holy grail product. It seems like a cheap and usable product for young friends in their early 20s with no visible pores and a fluffy finish. The tip is to use a brush to apply it. It's better to apply a lot with a brush first and then dab with a puff to spread out any brush strokes. That way, the coverage becomes better and it applies more smoothly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 31, 2017
The good thing was that it had a mesh, so the amount was a lot. And when I layered it for corrective makeup, it didn't look cakey. It seems good to use for light makeup or bare-faced makeup. I have oily skin, so I used this cushion in the summer, and it felt a bit sticky. I think it would be fine for dry skin types. I didn't have any breakouts while using it. I used the lightest petal shade, but the tone correction wasn't as good as I expected... My face looked whiter before applying it. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 15, 2017
I highly recommend this to everyone like me! I won the Hwahae Box and this Morning Glow Cushion was in it. Even though the color was random, the Petal 22 shade was perfect for me! It's moisturizing and adheres well, so there's no cakiness. The satin finish makes it easy to manage, and as long as you adjust the application, it's really great. This cushion has become a holy grail for me! @ I have slightly sensitive skin with some blemishes (acne). So I prefer cushions that make my skin look smooth, even with concealer. This gives a very natural, radiant glow! Even with my blemishes, people have commented that my skin looks great when I wear this. Despite my sensitivity, it doesn't irritate or cause bumps. I'm extremely satisfied!😊 Setting aside the moisturizing aspect, it does have a slightly sticky feel. If you're not extremely dry-skinned, it might be better to use this in other seasons rather than summer. The coverage is medium to medium-low, so it doesn't cover freckles or discoloration well. You'll likely need a concealer. However, it does help control redness to some degree. The lighter coverage allows for a more natural finish. Even now, 3 hours after application, I can see some separation around the sides of my nose. But it doesn't look unattractive or overly broken down. If you build a solid skincare base and apply it well, it applies beautifully, almost like sticky rice cake! Be sure to use a concealer (I recommend the Canmake one - I tried it after winning it in the Hwahae box and the shade matches this cushion perfectly!). A light dusting of powder is also recommended, as it has a slightly dewy, sticky finish. Here's my full review! Feel free to ask me any questions.😊😊😊 @The face photo is with just the cushion applied, no concealer, to show the coverage.
