The only positive thing I can say is that it's affordable When applied, it feels like it's just sitting on top of the skin and has a strange smell. Living in Australia, it's easily accessible and reasonably priced. It leaves a white cast at first and doesn't absorb well initially. The pump makes it a bit difficult to control the amount.

It has a slightly watery texture that applies lightly. While it didn't dramatically improve my skin, it also didn't cause any blemishes. It feels a bit dry when used alone. You need to apply several layers to really feel the hydration kick in! I don't have active acne, but I do have quite noticeable acne scars. When I applied this emulsion, I noticed that it seemed to soften the appearance of my scars. I didn't expect much due to the affordable price, but it was surprisingly decent. The ingredients are good and gentle. The fresh and smooth finish is subtly appealing. Once applied, it absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling like nothing's there - so lightweight! For reference, I have combination dehydrated skin, and I live in a very dry desert region. While it's not super hydrating, it doesn't cause any deep dryness. I'd definitely repurchase! Well... it could be a bit more hydrating, I suppose. This emulsion was so gentle on my skin! It absorbed quickly when applied, without any stickiness, and had a refreshing feel that I really enjoyed. The texture was quite nice too! My boyfriend, who has acne-prone skin on his chin and sensitive skin overall, completely switched to this Skin&Lab emulsion. He loves that it doesn't cause any irritation. However, for my dry skin... it was just too drying. While it didn't make my skin feel tight, I felt like it lacked both hydration and moisture, so I didn't find myself reaching for it often. It might be great for those with oily skin who dislike rich products, or during the summer months! If you have dry skin, absolutely avoid using this alone. You'll definitely need a hydrating moisturizer with it!
