hh*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinApr 20, 2019It's moisturizing and has a pleasant baby powder scent. The texture is on the thinner side. Once absorbed, it does leave the skin feeling hydrated. While it can make the nose and surrounding pore areas a bit oily and shiny, it keeps the cheeks nicely moisturized. Shortly after applying, the skin around my eyes became red and swollen, almost like mosquito bites. The same reaction occurred the next day. Thinking it might not suit my face, I tried it on my body, but it didn't work there either. Despite its thin consistency, even multiple applications left my body feeling dry. I stumbled upon this product while in Australia, and it's been a pleasant surprise! It's wonderfully hydrating, absorbs well without any sticky feeling. While I can't pinpoint any specific drawbacks, I was quite surprised to discover it contains ingredients that aren't ideal for oily skin. I brought this back from Australia - it's a great value for the large size. It's gentle on sensitive skin without causing any blemishes. I love how it leaves my skin feeling hydrated yet with a soft, matte finish. That's why I decided to repurchase! I tried using this as a substitute for my emulsion, but I'm not sure it has enough lasting hydration to use as a cream. The moisturizing power seems a bit lacking for that purpose.

The absorption and hydration are truly excellent! I think it would be perfect for those with dry skin. However, my combination and super sensitive skin immediately broke out with blemishes and became irritated... My cousin brought this as a gift from her trip to Australia, so I gave it a try. Being a lanolin cream, it absorbs quickly and keeps my skin moisturized without any tightness. The scent is a mild baby powder fragrance, not too overpowering. I'm quite satisfied with its hydrating power and how it feels on my skin. Despite my dry and sensitive skin type, they must have formulated it well because even with some potentially concerning ingredients, I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation. The ingredients list... oh dear. I'm so relieved my skin didn't have a bad reaction. I was really happy with how moisturizing it was and how it felt, so I'm even more disappointed now. Still, after doing some research, I found out that among Australian lanolin creams, this one has relatively less problematic ingredients, which is somewhat comforting.
