The case is plastic, making it super light but not very durable. The design is also a bit outdated.

I snagged this at a great price during a sale, possibly because it's being discontinued. Being a Mamonde product, the quality is on point and I really like the color.

This lipstick is perfect for both wearing alone and layering with other products.

The only minor concern is that the cap opens a bit too easily, which can be slightly worrying.

The application is smooth and moisturizing. Among matte lipsticks, this is the only one that felt hydrating, which I'm extremely satisfied with. The color is a beautiful chili red, close to a true red, and it provides great pigmentation with just a small amount! The staying power is surprisingly good, it doesn't create any lines, and it has a pleasant scent.

It does fade a bit quickly, so there's the inconvenience of having to reapply periodically.

The color payoff was exactly the brick shade I wanted, and the staying power wasn't bad at all.

If applied too heavily, the darker color can look a bit unflattering. Moreover, it tends to melt in hot weather.

When applied lightly with gentle taps, it creates such a beautiful pink glow! That's why I frequently use it at school and it's become one of my favorite cosmetics.

Since it's autumn now, try applying a brown lipstick as a base and then blend this on the inner part of your lips for a really sophisticated look. Being a lipstick, its staying power isn't as good as a tint, so if you apply some powder or tint as a base on your lips first, it'll last longer.

The case isn't great. The product keeps getting on the upper part of the lid, which is hard to clean. I've given up on keeping it tidy now. Also, it doesn't seem to be a long-lasting lipstick.

I think the longevity might be a bit short. However, personally, I prefer lipsticks that maintain some color and need reapplication rather than those that stain in one go. Anyway, I highly recommend Mamonde True Color Hot Red Cap!

Also, I tend to have a lot of dead skin cells on my lips, and when using other lipsticks or tints, I was concerned about how they emphasized the flakiness. But with Mamonde, I noticed less emphasis on dead skin cells, and it didn't bother me at all - I loved it!
