I snagged this at a great price during a sale, possibly because it's being discontinued. Being a Mamonde product, the quality is on point and I really like the color. The application is smooth and moisturizing. Among matte lipsticks, this is the only one that felt hydrating, which I'm extremely satisfied with. The color is a beautiful chili red, close to a true red, and it provides great pigmentation with just a small amount! The staying power is surprisingly good, it doesn't create any lines, and it has a pleasant scent. The only minor concern is that the cap opens a bit too easily, which can be slightly worrying. When applied lightly with gentle taps, it creates such a beautiful pink glow! That's why I frequently use it at school and it's become one of my favorite cosmetics. If applied too heavily, the darker color can look a bit unflattering. Moreover, it tends to melt in hot weather. It's truly a hot red as the name suggests! The application is great - one swipe gives you a slightly intense MLBB look. It's also beautiful when applied just to the inner lips for a gradient effect. The case isn't great. The product keeps getting on the upper part of the lid, which is hard to clean. I've given up on keeping it tidy now. Also, it doesn't seem to be a long-lasting lipstick. Since it's autumn now, try applying a brown lipstick as a base and then blend this on the inner part of your lips for a really sophisticated look. I'm using that color... Hot Red, or whatever it's called. When applied over lip balm, it doesn't seem to dry out my lips. And the color is truly beautiful. It's like a real red, but with a hint of orange-brown mixed in? It's not a common shade. You really need to see it in person. The application is truly fantastic! Despite being a matte lipstick, it's not dry at all and glides on incredibly smoothly. The color is a red with an orange base, making it perfect for warm-toned individuals with a brighter complexion. As I'm nearing the end of the product, I've noticed the case has become quite loose. The lid comes off with just a slight touch. Being a lipstick, it doesn't stain the lips much, and there's still some emphasis on dead skin cells, though not excessively. The vibrant color makes it great for adding a pop to your look! Thanks to its smooth application, you can apply it lightly. Just dab it on gently for a completely different color effect!

The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous! I was really worried about whether this shade would suit me, but after applying it, I can say it was a decision I don't regret at all! It's fantastic, the color is stunningly beautiful. Also, I tend to have a lot of dead skin cells on my lips, and when using other lipsticks or tints, I was concerned about how they emphasized the flakiness. But with Mamonde, I noticed less emphasis on dead skin cells, and it didn't bother me at all - I loved it! I think the longevity might be a bit short. However, personally, I prefer lipsticks that maintain some color and need reapplication rather than those that stain in one go. Anyway, I highly recommend Mamonde True Color Hot Red Cap!
