Pros
I purchased this product based on the recommendation of an Olive Young staff member. The makeup seemed to be easily removed, and my skin did not have any issues, so I just used the product as is.
Cons
First of all, among the cleansing oils, this one was extremely thick and oily, so the application didn't feel very refreshing. Even when emulsifying, the oily feeling remained, and after the first cleansing, there was still a slippery feeling left on my skin, which always left me with an unpleasant sensation. I use this as a body cleanser. Although it doesn't produce a lot of lather, I pump it onto my shower towel three times. It's quite oily, so it feels incredibly soft when it touches the skin. The texture is so oil-like that you'd think it wouldn't cleanse properly, but it lathers up and is quite gentle and effective. The scent is a subtle aroma, almost like soap, but a soft fragrance that makes me feel soothed during my shower. The lather is gentle and envelops the skin, and I find that areas with a lot of oil, like my back and chest, get thoroughly cleansed. After showering, I don't feel any greasy residue or clogged pores. Unlike regular shower gels or cleansers, this doesn't cause any back acne breakouts. My skin has a lot of complexities and troubles, but whenever I use this product, my skin always feels moisturized and my troubles seem to be reduced a bit. I used to use Perfect Whip, which is a popular choice among my college friends as a guy, but when I first switched to this, it felt a bit slippery and didn't seem to cleanse as thoroughly. I use this product from head to toe! Personally, I think this product would be perfect for those with dry skin, as it provides great moisture. If you have dry skin or prefer a refreshingly moisturized feel, I'd recommend the 'Atoderm Gel Douche' from the same line! I also prefer something lightweight in the summer, so I use the 'Atoderm Gel Douche', and this product the rest of the year! Since it's a line for sensitive+dry skin, the product doesn't seem to dramatically improve or worsen the skin. This product may be a bit plain for those looking for dramatic effects. It's convenient that this one product can be used by the whole family, from babies to adults, without needing to buy multiple lines.
Cons
This product really has no effect other than maintaining skin moisture! Using it on a bad skin day doesn't make it better or worse - it just maintains the status quo. It's too good for my dry skin ㅠㅠ I was looking for a cleansing foam and remembered that the dermatologist had recommended Bioderma, so I read the reviews and bought it! •Fragrance I prefer scented products over unscented ones, and I liked the subtle floral scent. However, those sensitive to fragrance may find it too strong, as it can vary from person to person. •Cleansing Power The reviews said the cleansing power was better than expected, so I tested it out. I applied lipstick, concealer, foundation, and eyeliner, and it removed everything. However, as shown in the photo, the lipstick and eyeliner required a bit more rubbing. Since I usually remove point makeup with a lip and eye makeup remover, this isn't a big issue for me. It removes everything, but it can irritate the skin, so I recommend using a lip and eye makeup remover. It seems to remove sunscreen and foundation well enough on its own. •Texture and Usage It has a slippery texture and doesn't produce much lather. At first, I was unsure if it was cleaning properly, but it did a good job. Since my skin is dry, not feeling tight after cleansing was a priority for me this time, and it did leave my skin feeling moisturized.
