When choosing a cleanser, the most important thing for me is that it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing. This product is truly hydrating! I prefer a smooth, moisturizing feel rather than a squeaky-clean sensation when cleansing, so I'm very satisfied with this. Although it's called a cleansing oil, it feels a bit inadequate for removing makeup. It might be fine for removing sunscreen, and I'm using it for my morning cleanse and evening cleanse on days when I only wear sunscreen. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 18, 2021
As a pregnant woman, I appreciated that it's fragrance-free. After use, my skin doesn't feel dry or overly squeaky clean. The price and quantity are reasonable (I bought the large size). I can't really think of any drawbacks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 10, 2020
As someone with extremely dry and sensitive skin, this product worked well for me without any major drawbacks. It's definitely a product that people might either love or hate. The texture is very fluid, slippery, and doesn't foam up much. If you prefer a squeaky-clean feeling after washing, you might wonder if this is actually cleansing your face properly. When using this as a second cleanser, make sure to wash your hands first. Otherwise, you'll just end up cleaning off any oil-based product left on your hands. Interestingly, if you wash your hands first and then work up a lather, it foams up quite nicely. Instead of scrubbing vigorously like with a regular foam cleanser, gently massage it in with your palms and fingers, similar to how you'd use a cleansing oil. This method works much better for cleansing. There's a subtle floral scent, but it's not overpowering. Due to its runny texture, you need to tilt your face up while cleansing, which can lead to wet clothes - a minor inconvenience, I suppose! Also, you might lose some product initially when trying to work up a lather. I recommend thoroughly removing eye and lip makeup with a separate remover or micellar water before cleansing with this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2020
It's capable of cleansing light makeup (including sunscreen) in one go. I guess it's because it has both oil and foam functions! For point makeup, I remove it separately with a remover, and then use this for washing - cleansing done! Rather than feeling squeaky clean, it leaves a slight softness with some moisture remaining. I bought it thinking it would be closer to a cleansing oil, but it's actually more like a slightly thick cleansing foam! It doesn't emulsify, but rather foams up immediately! Still, I wondered if it would cleanse well, but it has oil functions too, so I'm satisfied! However, if you're already using separate cleansing oil and foam cleanser, it's not really a product I'd strongly recommend... Recommended for those who wear light sunscreen/base makeup! Recommended for dry skin! If you use hair makeup/spray, it's good to spritz this on with some water beforehand. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinDec 30, 2019
As someone with combination skin prone to blemishes, I've found this product keeps my skin consistently hydrated and seems to reduce breakouts. I used to use Perfect Whip like many of my college buddies (I'm a male student), but when I first switched to this, it felt too slippery and didn't give that squeaky-clean feeling. However, after consistently using it (since I'd paid a pretty penny), I've grown to love it. Granted, I haven't tried a wide range of products, but for now, this is my favorite cleansing oil/gel! It's a bit slippery and doesn't rinse off immediately, so you need to rinse quite thoroughly.
