Despite being an oil serum, it applies surprisingly light. Unlike other oil serums that can pill before makeup, this one doesn't. It absorbs well and doesn't leave that typical oily feeling, which I appreciate. The fragrance is also refreshingly pleasant. The downside is that it might be too light for an oil serum to use on its own. As someone who prefers using just one product, I find this serum absorbs too quickly to be effective as a standalone treatment. It seems better suited for layering with other products. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 14, 2018
I love how it leaves my skin feeling fresh. As someone who dislikes stickiness, I was pleased with how light it felt after application. When used as the final step in my skincare routine, it left my skin feeling nicely hydrated. I applied this after my skincare routine, but on days when my skin was particularly dry, it didn't quite quench my skin's thirst. It's like my skin was crying out for more hydration! While it felt okay initially, my skin started to feel a bit dry as time passed. Oh, and it's hard to see how much product is left in the container. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 16, 2017
I was worried this oil serum might feel heavy, but surprise! It's lighter than expected, absorbs well, and feels hydrating. The scent is pleasant, and its moisturizing power isn't bad at all. After applying four layers of toner and this serum, it might not be super moisturizing, but it leaves a refreshingly light finish. When my skin feels weighed down, just using this seems fine. (It's at that stage where you'd expect to feel deep dryness, but it's surprisingly okay.) For extra hydration, adding a cream on top would be ideal. If I had to nitpick... compared to other essences I rotate, it's noticeably less hydrating. But I see this more as an advantage for those with oily skin rather than a drawback.
