I've tried it two ways, and while it may differ depending on skin type, I have combination dehydrated, sensitive skin prone to redness and inner dryness with dry cheeks. I avoid using heavy or very sticky skincare unless I need special care. After using a clear toner, I lightly touch my skin with toner, wait for it to absorb, then apply this product. If I apply another first-step serum or anything else before this product, it can feel slightly sticky (depending on the product). For those who dislike this stickiness, I recommend applying it right after your clear toner and regular toner for faster absorption and no stickiness. This is based on my skin type, so adjust according to your own needs.
