This purple eyeshadow seems perfect as an accent color for cool-toned individuals, adding a touch of sophistication to your look. Those who typically stick to neutral brown eyeshadows might find this shade a bit daring at first. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
The quality is excellent and it's perfect for creating sophisticated contours~ It's a lovely purple-brown shade! The downside is... since I have a warm skin tone, the purple undertone stands out a bit, and it's been discontinued... - ht******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 19, 2019
Many people might assume it's a deep purple just from the name, but it's actually more of a purple-brown shade. It looks really beautiful when applied above the eyeliner or as a subtle shadow at the outer corners of the eyes. The color payoff isn't too intense, so there's no need to be intimidated! I suppose the strengths could also be seen as weaknesses. Why does it have brown tones when it's called purple? And the regular price is just wickedly high. The case feels like it's made of cheap, lightweight plastic too... Applying it with your fingers gives much better color payoff and adherence. Of course, it's harder to apply precisely this way. - jy*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 10, 2019
The color is incredibly intriguing. You can think of it as a deep brown with a subtle hint of purple. If you buy it when it's not on sale, the price can be a bit steep. That's the only downside! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 8, 2019
The intense color payoff applies beautifully in one swipe! The subtle shimmer is perfect for blending. No clumping at all! When I actually applied it to my eyes, it looked too cyberpunk-ish, which was disappointing. It wasn't flattering for my protruding eyes. The purple hue was less vibrant than I expected. I should have swatched it before buying... It might look stunning on others though. I'm a bit envious! I'm still figuring out how to use it besides as an eyeliner... It would be perfect for a smoky eye look when going out at night! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2018
Bought it because it's pretty, and the ingredients are gentle too! Compared to other Etalprism shades, this one has even more powerful color payoff (not that the others are lacking, this one's just exceptional). One touch gives incredible pigmentation! It's not an overly intense purple, but rather a deep purple + brown = mysterious hue. I do wish the purple was slightly more noticeable (it's more brown than purple). The texture is so soft, and the color is intriguing... In a nutshell: If you're tired of ordinary browns, get this! Please don't let the grid pattern fade away... My heart aches seeing scratches on the case... Tap it on with a brush for intense color payoff. - ej***Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresFeb 1, 2018
1. It's a powder product without talc! (Though aluminum powder is flagged as potentially risky...) 2. Living up to Etude's Prism reputation, the color payoff, longevity, and adherence are all top-notch. I knew I had to have it the moment I saw this shade in-store! 3. For those who might be hesitant about the purple tone, don't worry! It's actually more of a purple-brown that doesn't scream purple. When applied, it leans more towards a rich brown. 4. The shimmery pearls are gorgeous and complement the color perfectly. 5. It's great for contouring or as a base shade! Just go light-handed when using it as a base to keep it from being overwhelming. Tips: - When using as a base, apply with your fingers to control the amount. This improves adherence and gives a more natural color payoff. - For contouring, use a small or bullet brush. Tap off excess powder, then apply to the outer corner or crease as desired. This creates a subtle yet impactful eye look. The price... (but it's worth every penny!!!!) Honestly, whether it's Missha or not, it might feel a bit pricey. I'd recommend grabbing it during a 50% off sale. 1. Using a brush can give you a more vibrant color payoff. Just be aware there might be some excess powder fallout. 2. When using as a base, be careful with the amount. If you overdo it, you might end up looking like you've been punched in the eye, or your whole eye area could become dark and muddy. I wanted to show that while the color might not appear distinct in photos, it's not overly purple. It can be beautifully used as an accent or contouring color without being too intense. - su*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinNov 7, 2017
This eyeshadow has an intriguing blend of a hint of purple, brown, silver, and white pearl. It's my first time trying Italprism shadows, and I'm impressed with the pigmentation. The blending is incredibly smooth, which explains the higher price point. While the shade is quite dark, it creates a distinctly different vibe compared to a chocolate brown for contouring. It gives off a cooler, more chic feel - perfect for winter looks. The color in the pan appears to have a noticeable purple tint, but when applied to the eyes, it comes out as a very dark charcoal with just a hint of purple. I was hoping for a stronger purple tone. I compared it to Etude's Real Vang Show, thinking they might be similar. Etude's version has a warmer feel with more prominent purple tones, while Missha's has more shimmer. Etude's shadow is slightly glossy but leans matte, making it my go-to for blending eyeliner. It also seems to have better adherence. In conclusion, while Missha's shadow is beautiful, Etude offers excellent value for money. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 16, 2017
It's a bit pricey, but the performance is excellent. The case and color are beautiful too. At first, I was concerned about the purple shade, but it actually looks more brown and dark, making it perfect for creating shadow and depth in makeup. The price is a bit steep, so I only purchase it during special events or sales. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 1, 2017
This product is seriously amazing! I tested it and bought it right on the spot. The color payoff is just wow. Can you believe this is actually from Missha? Despite having 'purple' in the name, when you actually apply it, it's more of a 'brown' with just the tiniest, barely-there hint of purple. If you're expecting a true purple, you might want to skip this one.
