The best part is that although it's an oil, it's not heavy and absorbs quickly. For a Hera product, the scent isn't overpowering, which I appreciate. The ingredients are also quite good. Considering the volume, it's a bit pricier than expected. After completing your entire skincare routine, drop a few drops at the end and gently press it into your skin. This helps lock in the hydration beautifully. - ss*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 13, 2019
I've been diligently applying this product for the past two weeks since I bought it. With the cold weather, I noticed more dead skin cells and tiny bumps appearing, so I decided to give this a try. While I haven't seen dramatic results yet, I can feel it's helping to smooth out the dead skin cells and ever so slightly evening out my complexion. It's working well! The downside is... the price is a bit steep. I tend to be quite generous when applying products, and I've already noticed a significant decrease in the amount, even though I only use it in the evening routine. For my evening routine, I first apply a slightly thicker toner generously and let it absorb. Then I lightly spread a hydrating cream on top, followed by a liberal application of facial oil. The next morning, my skin has such a beautiful glow! - by*****Dry SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2019
I have dry skin but don't like products that leave residue or feel sticky on my face. This oil, however, feels incredibly lightweight, and yet it creates a thin, light moisturizing barrier. I absolutely love it! Rather than providing intense hydration, it feels like it's gently sealing in the skin's moisture, preventing it from evaporating. To be honest, I can't think of anything I found disappointing about this product. - my*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2019
I discovered this when my skin became extremely dry during pregnancy, as if all the moisture had evaporated. Even with a small amount, it feels like it locks in hydration deep within the skin! The scent is lovely too. For me, it has a slight aromatherapy feel, so I especially enjoy applying it generously before bed and giving myself a long massage. The price... oh my. It's a product I use daily, so it's a bit of a burden on the wallet. Still, I'm trying to console myself with the thought that a little goes a long way, so it should last a while... When you want to add a glow to your face, it might be great to mix it with foundation or cushion. Also, if you apply it generously before bed and gently press it into your skin, thinking of it as a nighttime massage, you'll wake up without any facial puffiness the next morning! - ji***Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2019
This is my favorite facial oil I've tried. It absorbs well and has a lovely scent. The packaging is beautiful too. When applied as the final step of makeup, it doesn't feel sticky, doesn't cause pilling, and isn't heavy on the skin. The top part of the dropper gets dirty easily, which is a bit disappointing. It works great mixed with foundation or moisturizer - it's fantastic no matter how you use it. - tk********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2019
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I typically only use this in winter. Despite having oily skin, it's definitely a great product for the colder months. I usually use a matte foundation, but in winter, especially on windy days, my makeup would crumble and separate along with the skin's oils when I used foundation alone. However, when I mix about two drops of this facial oil with my foundation, it applies much more smoothly and the makeup adheres better due to the oil content. Even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. This is more about my skin condition than a product issue, but when I have dead skin cells on my face and use this, it can cause the flakes to lift while applying. In other words, despite not being a color cosmetic like foundation, the pros and cons of this product become very apparent depending on your skin's condition. Since this product is primarily oil-based, rather than other tips, the main reason and best way to use it is by mixing it with matte products or applying it when your skin feels dry. - kh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 25, 2019
My sensitive skin often reacts badly even to pricier products, leaving it irritated. But when I apply a thin layer of this before makeup, it feels like a gentle protective barrier on my skin. It's not heavy at all. My skin feels silky smooth, and despite my super sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any blemishes! I wish there was more product in the container. The lid seems secure, but when my baby was playing with it, the outer cap came off. Can't blame the baby though! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2018
* I thought it would be sticky since it's an oil, but it absorbs well and leaves a soft, matte finish. * It's great for hydration and doesn't feel heavy when mixed with any skincare product. * The quantity is generous, and even if you use a lot at once, it lasts a long time. * I use it for facial massage before applying cream, and it doesn't stress my skin. * It's light enough to use comfortably in the morning without feeling greasy. * The only downside I can think of is the price. I'm already on my second bottle, and although I want to recommend it to others, the high cost makes it difficult to do so... * When mixed with a moisturizer or liquid foundation, it gives a soft yet deeply nourished feeling (probably due to its excellent hydrating properties). * I use this oil for massage, and unlike other oils, it absorbs so well that it doesn't feel heavy. I can apply cream right after and my skin still feels soft and smooth. (Suitable for morning use too) - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2018
As someone with ultra-sensitive skin, facial atopic dermatitis, mild acne, and extremely dry skin, I was pleasantly surprised that this didn't cause any issues. While the hydration might not be exceptional, it's still quite usable! I especially love how lightweight it feels on application. It doesn't leave a greasy residue, and it gives a nice balance of slight moisture inside with a matte finish outside. Plus, apart from the fragrance, the ingredients list is pretty good. I understand fragrance is in most cosmetics, so it's somewhat unavoidable... The price is a bit steep... While the quantity isn't small, anything over $70 feels burdensome. It's also disappointing that they included fragrance. I can't help but think, 'Was that really necessary?' Additionally, I'd recommend this oil more for combination or combination dehydrated skin rather than dry skin types. The hydration isn't particularly outstanding... - so******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 17, 2018
Just three drops - one on each cheek and one on the forehead - spread out, and it's more than enough! The hydration is absolutely amazing! I was really worried because I have oily skin, but I needed intense moisture during this seasonal change. Surprisingly, it's not greasy at all, and for someone like me who doesn't like applying a lot of product, it's absolutely perfect! There are no downsides at all! I was shocked that I didn't get any blemishes after using this! Of course, everyone's skin is different, but since my forehead tends to be a bit oilier, I deliberately put one drop there and spread it down to my nose. I was amazed at how well it covered everything with just that amount! I start by wiping my face with a cotton pad soaked in the refreshing La Roche-Posay mist. When my skin feels extra dry, I use either Hera Signia Water or Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum for hydration. On less dry days, I just use the Soothing Line Water. After that, I apply facial oil - one drop on each cheek and one on the forehead, then spread it out. I finish with Sulwhasoo cream, but if that feels too heavy, I use Primera Watery Intensive Cream instead.
