I usually use shade 21. It has minimal yellow undertones, making it suitable even for cool-toned skin. The formula has a light, fluid texture. It allows for a natural, non-cakey makeup look. Great for achieving a matte finish in summer. Due to its lightweight nature, the coverage is not impressive. Even with ample moisturizer, it can feel drying in winter. When the heater is on, my face feels like a desert. My redness becomes more noticeable and my complexion looks worse. I'm not sure if I'm using it incorrectly, but the nozzle seems a bit weak and hard to squeeze. I've attached a photo for reference. Using a brush for application gives a better skin finish. I recommend mixing it with a higher coverage BB cream for best results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 9, 2020
It doesn't cause any blemishes, and it's neither drying nor sticky. Even though it's the lightest shade, it doesn't make my face look ashy. Instead, it blends seamlessly with my skin tone like a CC cream, giving a radiant complexion. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for coverage. It's basically just a tinted emulsion. They say the biggest charm is being charmless, but do we really need to buy this product at this price? I think the best tip would be to spend this money on a different foundation. The product itself isn't bad, but I rarely reach for it and sometimes even forget I have it. As someone who likes the Marc Jacobs brand, I'm just keeping it as a collector's item, but I wouldn't buy it again. To be honest, this seems to be the case with all Marc Jacobs cosmetics (I have the eyeshadow palette and finishing powder too, and they're all equally uninspiring). I'd suggest sticking to Marc Jacobs fragrances only. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2019
It's excellent when reapplied 3-4 hours after initial makeup application. Gives a fresh, matte appearance. The texture is incredibly smooth. It feels best when applied with hands compared to other methods. Hands, hands, hands!!! - pr******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 28, 2018
While it doesn't provide full coverage, I find it more natural-looking as it doesn't completely hide all blemishes. It absorbs well, feels hydrating, and best of all, it has excellent ingredients. Even with my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes! That's great! However, since it's a hydrating product, the coverage is somewhat less. - ap******Dry SkinSensitive SkinApr 13, 2017
As someone with super sensitive skin, I can't use just any foundation, but this one didn't cause any irritation when applied. While other shades in this line are quite yellow, shade 10 is bright and beautiful. It has a yellow base, but it's not sallow - more of a pretty ivory tone. It does a decent job covering pores, and overall, the coverage is medium. Even with two layers, it doesn't look cakey. I prefer makeup with a glow, but this finishes so matte that I don't feel the need to use powder. It doesn't feel tight, but it does tend to emphasize dead skin cells. If you have very dry skin, consider using this only in summer... Oh, and by the way, this product has a 12-month shelf life. - jy*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2017
While it's a thinner formula compared to Remarkable, it's not lacking in coverage. I'd say it's medium-high if we're rating it on a scale. Despite being thin, it has an incredibly powdery finish, so you'll need a good base to avoid dryness. The powdery finish contributes to its excellent staying power - it lasted about 8 hours without touch-ups. Given the long wear time, as someone with combination dehydrated skin, I noticed a bit of oil buildup around my nose, but gently patting it out fixed the issue. Its pore-covering ability was impressive too. As it wore off, it developed a slight glow and broke down beautifully, naturally filling in pores. Color-wise, when I used NARS All Day Luminous Foundation in Siberia, it was a bit dark for me. MAC Mineralize Foundation in NC15 was a perfect match. I was torn between shade 10 and 14, but I think 14 would have been slightly dark for me. Since using this, I feel like my pores are gradually getting larger. After removing my makeup, my face feels hot, pores seem to open up, and I've been getting blemishes around my nose area. I'm not sure what's causing it. Compared to other foundations I've used, this one has better ingredients, but I wonder if it's because dimethicone is high on the list. It really evens out the complexion and gives you that 'honey skin' look, but since using it, my pores and redness have become unmanageable. I thought I'd finally found a foundation I really liked, but sadly, I've decided to stop using it. Oh, and you need to exfoliate thoroughly - this formula tends to highlight dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2016
After trying a sample and purchasing, I experienced incredibly honey-like skin! However, when I used it after buying, it felt quite drying... very drying... I wonder if it was because my face was sweaty during the sample test? It leaves such a silky finish that you don't even need powder!
