My hair is thin, limp, prone to static, and dry with straight strands. Despite not bleaching or dyeing my hair due to continuous hair donations, I've experienced circular hair loss twice, about the size of a coin. It's grown back after about 5 years, but I still shed a lot, so I'm very interested in scalp and hair products. My hair naturally lightens to what looks like a dyed brown color. The salon told me I have moisture-absorbing hair that's prone to damage and takes a long time to dry. Even with a powerful JMW dryer, it takes over 10 minutes. While my face and body skin have changed from neutral to dry-normal, my scalp is ambiguously oily yet dry. I was shocked when dandruff appeared last year, so I tried a scalp pack. Effectiveness: 5/5 I liked that it contains Houttuynia cordata and green tea. My scalp tends to be warm, and this definitely has a cooling effect. If you leave it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing, it feels intensely cold. It'll be especially refreshing in summer. Using it twice a week, my dandruff has disappeared, so I'm very satisfied with maintaining my current condition.
ConsWhile it's quite good, there are areas for improvement. Environmental Aspect: Green consumption is important. The recyclability label is encouraging, but it's still difficult to recycle. I'd love to see more eco-friendly packaging like paper tubes or recycled plastic for a zero-waste attempt. The tube packaging is hard to use up completely without cutting it open. If they made a paper tube with tear lines at the end, it might be easier to use without scissors. Also, while it's for sensitive scalps, I'd recommend those with extremely sensitive skin to patch test on the back of their hand before applying to the entire scalp. As someone who prefers unscented products, I found the fragrance strong. There's also physical stimulation from the scrub particles and chemical stimulation from the menthol. However, I didn't experience any blemishes, and considering it's a weekly pack rather than a daily product, I was quite satisfied.
TipThe effects are amplified when combined with a scalp massage.

The menthol gives a cool, refreshing sensation that feels great. Plus, it makes my hair so soft! While it doesn't completely eliminate dandruff, it definitely reduces the itchiness. Before this product, I used Dr. For Hair, but that felt too harsh. Now I'm also using Missha's scalp pack, which is a bit too mild. I've already repurchased this to quickly finish my current products and switch back to the Shocking Scalp Pack.
ConsThe standard tube packaging means you have to dispense it into your hand to apply to the scalp, which can lead to wasteful use. However, this does mean you end up applying more to your hair, making it super soft.
TipWhen washing my hair, I fill a basin with water and add a drop or two of tea tree oil for rinsing. I also use it alongside Lable Young's scalp essence for even better results. Remember, your scalp is skin too and needs hydration. The scalp essence comes in a pointed bottle, making it easy to apply.
