My dry skin used to have a lot of tiny bumps, but after switching to this gel cleanser, they've significantly reduced. I love that it's fragrance-free and doesn't sting my eyes. It's also gentle enough that my skin doesn't feel irritated after cleansing. I can't really think of anything disappointing about this product. The only slight drawback might be the price... it's a bit on the higher side. When using the sponge, it's best to apply it with a light touch and minimal pressure for optimal results.

My sensitive, easily reddened, and temperature-vulnerable thin skin had been experiencing increased redness after washing and developing folliculitis due to the cold weather. Wondering if my cleansing routine was the issue, I switched to this product after using a cleansing oil (Bioderma pink cleansing oil). It's clear that Bioderma's Sensibio line seems optimized for those with super sensitive skin. After about 5 days of use, washing with a slightly stronger cleansing foam in the morning, and using Bioderma's pink oil followed by this product in the evening for makeup removal, the redness has completely disappeared. Surprisingly, unlike other products where the foam disappears leaving nothing to massage into the skin, this one maintains its lather - must be some advanced technology. It also seems to provide hydration, as my face doesn't feel tight or dry even after washing, shampooing, and showering. It's truly amazing... The folliculitis has significantly subsided, and most importantly, my complexion looks healthier with a more even skin tone. I'll definitely continue using this. If you have sensitive skin, you absolutely must try this! I was worried because reviews mentioned it doesn't lather well, and it's true that it doesn't foam up as much as traditional squeaky-clean products. It's also quite expensive, making it feel wasteful to use generously. Additionally, while I don't mind the slippery feeling, those who dislike it might find it off-putting. However, seeing my complexion transform from carrot-red to normal makes these minor inconveniences worth it for me. When I had trouble getting enough foam, I used to use a foam net, but that was also difficult to maintain. So now, I put about 1.5 pumps in my hand, add a few drops of water, rub it together, then add a few more drops and rub again to create a light foam before applying it to my face. This method definitely produces some lather. ✔️Ingredients ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have super sensitive skin that easily turns red with the slightest irritation, and I'm prone to blemishes when using incompatible ingredients. However, I've used almost an entire bottle of this product without any issues! I'm very satisfied with the ingredients. ✔️Texture It's truly a gel texture with no harsh alcohol-like feeling. It feels like applying a hydrating gel! It doesn't produce much foam, which might make cleansing a bit trickier, but I actually find it reassuring as it likely means fewer surfactants. ✔️Scent The scent is... artificial, somewhat plasticky? While it's not my favorite, I prioritize ingredients, so it didn't bother me much. ✔️Hydration ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great hydration for a cleansing product! It provided just the right amount of moisture and finish for my combination skin. Those with extremely dry skin might experience some tightness after cleansing, though! ❤️What I loved most I switched to a cleansing gel because foaming cleansers were irritating my skin. This product was recommended by an Olive Young employee, and it definitely seems less irritating! My face used to be red after cleansing, but not anymore since switching to this product! Highly recommended for those with sensitive skin - it cleanses very gently. ✔️Value for money Because it doesn't foam up, I unconsciously use more product each time, so I go through a bottle quite quickly. It's a bit pricey in the 20,000 won range. ✔️Cleansing power As expected from its gentleness, it doesn't remove high-coverage products like concealer as effectively as a foaming cleanser, even after a first cleanse. However, I prefer using a gentle cleanser for my daily routine rather than risking skin irritation. It's non-irritating and actually calms my skin, so I can use it without worry. I use it on my body and scalp when they're feeling sensitive, and it's great. My skin feels comfortable. Personally, I can't find any downsides to Bioderma products. When my skin is super sensitive, my body and scalp tend to be sensitive too. At those times, I use just the foam to wash my body without a towel, and sometimes even use it instead of shampoo. It works well. (Just make sure to use conditioner afterward. It's gentle on the skin. As someone with sensitive skin, I really appreciate how it cleanses softly without any friction. There's nothing particularly bad. Its cleansing effectiveness is on the milder side, which can be both a pro and a con. I use it for my morning cleanse. When my skin feels tight, I also use it in the evening. It's suitable and nice for oily and combination skin types. While it doesn't give a deep cleansing sensation, it's perfectly fine for consistent use. Plus, you get a generous amount of product. It's gentle with minimal irritation and dryness, suits my skin type well, and has decent cleansing effectiveness. The ingredients are also good! I hope it doesn't get discontinued or reformulated. While it's gentle, its cleansing power is just okay, not exceptional. You'll need to use it as a second cleanser. I wouldn't recommend it for those who already have a cleanser that works well for their skin type, or for makeup removal or oily skin types. Some people say it doesn't lather well, but if you keep adding water and rub it between your hands about three times, it actually produces a great lather!

I went to Olive Young and ended up buying this cleanser on the staff's recommendation! (At that time, I was a cleanser nomad, having changed 4-5 times..) I was already using Bioderma's cleansing water, so I thought this would be good for a second cleanse or for washing my face when I'm not wearing makeup. That was one of the reasons I bought it, and it turned out to be the perfect cleanser for me! First of all, my face didn't break out more while using this. And my nose, which always had severe blemishes, became much cleaner than before. I just used it hoping it wouldn't make my face more sensitive, but it even removed blackheads? I really felt like I should stick with this from now on. I'm just so grateful to the Olive Young staff who recommended this cleanser. And Bioderma is simply the best... If there's one downside, it's that many people still don't know the charm of this cleanser. I hope it doesn't get discontinued! Some people say it doesn't lather well, but if you wet it a bit and rub it in circular motions, it lathers up nicely!
