Honest review from my own purchase! I love how moisturizing it is. I usually prefer matte lipsticks, but they don't look pretty when eating. So before meals or similar situations, I always apply this one. It fades naturally too. It doesn't stain heavily, so it's easy to remove. The swatch on the back of my hand shows a vibrant cherry color, but on the lips, it's a more subdued deep red style. The downside is that the opening gets dirty easily, so you need to clean it often. Unfortunately, it seems to soften quickly. If you apply it as a gradient on the inner part of your lips, it makes them look even fuller! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 23, 2019
This is my year-round favorite! I have a lot of dead skin cells on my lips, so I was looking for a moisturizing product. When I tried this, it felt like a lipstick with great color payoff combined with a lip balm. It's incredibly hydrating! When I applied it, it actually seemed to smooth out the flaky skin. The color isn't an overwhelming red, but it gives you a lively look when applied. I think this would be perfect for people with dry, flaky lips or those who love hydrating products. Since it's such a moisturizing product, it does transfer a bit when drinking or eating. Honestly, apart from the transfer issue, I can't think of any other drawbacks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 29, 2018
It's moisturizing and has a beautiful red color, reminiscent of gochujang (Korean red chili paste)! It feels a bit sticky and fades away quickly... - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 15, 2018
It's incredibly moisturizing and the color is beautiful. It's red with a hint of orange. Usually, moisturizing lipsticks tend to wear off easily. This one is no exception. However, I like that it doesn't stain much. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 4, 2018
01. Moisturizing As someone with dry lips, I always apply lip balm before lipstick. But the MAC Huggable line feels genuinely hydrating. Even without lip balm, it's not drying at all, and the moisture lasts for ages. The creamy texture doesn't emphasize dead skin cells either. I think this is the MAC lipstick line that suits me best! 02. Cherry shade While it looks like a burgundy shade in the tube, once applied it's more of a toned-down red. It's quite pigmented but still looks natural. I love that I can apply it lightly for a subtle look with one swipe, or build it up to three swipes for a more vibrant effect - giving two different feels from the same product. 03. Long-lasting Despite being a moisturizing lipstick rather than a matte one, it has surprisingly good staying power. Unless you deliberately remove it or touch it frequently, it seems to last about half a day without fading. To be honest, there wasn't anything I disliked... If I had to pick one thing, maybe the ingredients? But I don't expect great ingredients in color cosmetics, so it didn't bother me! I've never experienced any tingling or blemishes on my lips from using it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 28, 2018
It removes well but stays moisturizing, so it's great to use even without lip balm! The color payoff is good and it applies smoothly. The staying power isn't great... It disappears after just one sip of water. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 17, 2017
This was my first time trying a lipstick, and since I have a lot of dead skin cells, I can't use matte ones. I bought this while looking for a moisturizing lipstick! First off, it's incredibly hydrating, so you don't need a separate lip balm!! Also, you can apply it beautifully like a tint even without looking in a mirror! I'm not sure if it's just me applying it poorly, but it doesn't go on well on the inner part of my lips, and the staying power is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 8, 2017
Unlike matte bullet lipsticks, this one was incredibly moisturizing - so much so that you don't even need to apply lip balm separately. It also didn't accentuate dead skin cells. I've repurchased it 4 times! I tend to use lip products for a long time, but this lipstick isn't very firm and is on the softer side, so it seems to run out faster. The amount noticeably decreases in summer. Also, since it's a moisturizing type, the color payoff isn't as intense as you might expect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2017
My lips were extremely dry, but I'm glad that this product was very moisturizing. Since MAC products are usually matte, I was curious about the Cremesheen line and found it to be quite hydrating. When applied, it gives a very delicate and soft color. It looks best when layered with another complementary lip color. The longevity is not great. Creamy lipsticks tend to have this issue, but it does transfer a bit, though not excessively. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 23, 2017
It's moisturizing, and it gives a fresh, natural look with one application. With multiple layers, it builds up to a rich, vibrant color. The longevity is not great, so you'll need to reapply it periodically.
