  Pros

  I received this as a gift from a friend and have been using it for about a week. As someone with very dry, sensitive skin, I find it's not bad at all. It's quite hydrating and absorbs well into the skin. However, I think it would be beneficial to apply multiple layers for extra moisture.

  Cons

  It can sting a bit when applied after exfoliating dead skin cells. Those with super sensitive skin should keep this in mind. While the ingredients are good quality and there's no added fragrance, the natural scent isn't particularly pleasant.

  The scent is lovely and it absorbs quickly. I'm using it as a substitute for toner.

  Pros

  My skin feels dry even right after washing my face and stepping out of the bathroom. But this essence absorbs quickly, providing instant hydration.

  Cons

  There's a distinct scent typical of fermented essences. However, it's more tolerable than artificial fragrances.

  Tip

  After cleansing, I use a toner with a cotton pad to prep my skin, then apply the essence with my hands.
