The brightening effect is outstanding! It worked wonders on my redness too (I'm using up a whole bottle). It seems to blend well with the emulsion I mix it with. Despite my combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin prone to blemishes, it didn't cause any reactions! It's moisturizing and above all, the brightening... it's truly excellent. The scent doesn't bother me either! This is a lifelong staple for me. It's unavoidable that it turns slightly yellow when mixed at night. Still, I even applied it in the morning before going out. Other than that, well... the only issue might be that it's a bit tricky to control the amount? Mix it with other products! That's the best way to use it. It also makes your face less yellow! - 20******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 11, 2020
For those with dry skin, it's super moisturizing and has great ingredients, so it's highly recommended. However, for combination dehydrated and sensitive skin like mine, it might not be the best fit. Some people find the scent too strong, but I don't think it's that bad. The main issue is that it changes your skin tone after application, making you look slightly tanned. I've found it works better as a body lotion. It's too pigmented for my face and a bit too rich, but it's perfect for the body, especially in fall and winter. Using it this way also makes the strong fragrance much less noticeable. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2020
After using it, I definitely feel my skin becoming smoother It's a bit tricky to control the amount dispensed. I guess that's unavoidable with a liquid formula - al****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 26, 2020
I discovered this product while searching for an oil to mix with my cream due to dry skin! I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't feel greasy and absorbed quickly. When mixed with cream or soothing gel, it created a thin coating that kept my skin hydrated for a long time. Those with oily skin might want to use just a small amount. Also, despite many reviews mentioning the scent, I found it quite pleasant - a strong powder fragrance with hints of lavender? The fragrance can be a bit overpowering if you apply too much, which might be bothersome as it lingers on your face. It's challenging to control the amount as it doesn't dispense drop by drop, but can come out in larger quantities. Using it during the day might give your skin an orange tint, which isn't ideal. I'd recommend using it at night! It works great when mixed with cream or soothing gel! Since it's hard to control the amount, I found it best to cover the bottle opening with my finger and use the oil that clings to it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 6, 2020
The quantity is generous and it provides excellent hydration. It absorbs well, leaving minimal stickiness on the skin. The fragrance reminds me of men's cosmetics. The scent is quite strong, which makes it less comfortable to apply liberally. After application, it gives the skin a slightly yellowish tint. - jc*******Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 15, 2020
As my first-ever facial oil, I'm pleasantly surprised! The scent isn't too overpowering (though that's quite subjective). I've been applying it only to half my face due to its color, but when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels wonderfully soft and smooth! The absorption is also quite good. I have normal skin, so I don't particularly struggle with dryness or blemishes. However, if there's one issue - or rather two - it's the color, and then the color again. This deep carrot-colored oil sometimes makes me worry if it might alter my complexion. I really hope that doesn't happen... - ba*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2020
This gentle oil is affordable and non-sticky. I was looking for an oil to supplement my body emulsion in winter, as it wasn't quite enough, and I heard carrot oil was mild, so I decided to give it a try. Many oils I've used before left an unpleasant finish, but this one doesn't feel excessively greasy or transfer too much. The scent isn't overpowering either, which is quite nice. I'm satisfied with the quality, especially considering the price point. After applying it to my face and going out, my friends asked if I'd been eating a lot of tangerines. It turns your skin very yellow. So now I only use it on my body, but even my arms and legs become extremely yellow. It's like a product that forces you into a warm tone. Also, it doesn't come with a dropper, so you have to pour it out, which makes controlling the amount difficult. Still, I think it's much better than a spray format. - je******Dehydrated SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJul 12, 2019
I bought this carrot oil when it was on sale because I heard good things about it. It really protected my skin during last winter when it was cracking badly overnight. Everyone knows this carrot oil is strictly for nighttime use due to its color, right? But I'm worried it might stain my pillows and bedding. Also, the scent is overwhelmingly strong. If you ask me whether it's worth dealing with these two issues, I'd say not really. I love oils and have tried many, but I'd rather use a different oil than this one. Definitely won't repurchase. Oh, and the bottle opening is too wide, making it hard to control the amount. No matter what you mix it with, you can't escape becoming a carrot-colored human! Just apply it at night and let it absorb well. I recommend using it during winter. - by*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 5, 2019
The ingredients are perfect, except for the fragrance. The scent isn't particularly good or bad, but it's definitely polarizing. I first discovered this oil during winter while browsing Hwahae for oil-related products. When I saw it on sale on social media, I bought two. I've started using one of them. Being an oil, it's rich and provides hydration to dry areas even with a small amount. When applied, it gives my face an orange tint, making me look sickly. I only use it before bed, applying it up to my neck, but I sleep worrying about it staining my pillow. The bottle opening is too wide, making it difficult to control the amount. I'm afraid even a small mistake could cause it to spill everywhere. Initially, it seemed fine, but as I continued using it, I developed a burning sensation and itchiness on my neck where I have atopic dermatitis. I've stopped using it and now I'm wondering what to do with the remaining product. Even if a product has good ingredients, it might not suit you. When trying something new, it's best to buy just one, even if it's at a good price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 9, 2019
My friend gifted me this, saying it was great. I loved how moisturizing and gentle it felt when applied. Being a German product, it somehow inspired confidence. The carrot-like color scared me, worried it might stain my face. When applied, it gave my complexion a slight orange tint, which made me hesitant to use it frequently.
