While it's moisturizing, it tends to make dead skin cells swell and become more noticeable. If you want to smooth out those flakes, you'd better choose something else. As for the color, when applied to your lips, it's just like putting on lard. That's all there is to it. Only the Cherry Glazed might be decent. To be honest, this one has no color at all.
