Oh no, it's being discontinued?! I've been using it for about a month and it's so amazing that I had to come write a review. I used to only use NBY products for as long as I can remember, but when I stopped feeling the effects, I wondered why I even bother with lip balm. I switched to Vaseline, but then heard it wasn't good for lips. While I was pondering what to use, I received The Saem lip balm as a gift. This one shows results as soon as you apply it! It instantly removes dead skin cells, keeps lips moisturized, and even brings color to pale lips - it's like wearing a tinted lip balm! It does wear off a bit quickly... But that's really the only downside. It hasn't melted yet since it's still chilly, but I think it might melt easily in the summer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2019
I love that it doesn't transfer color when applied over lip tint, and it's not too sticky either! It tends to melt in hot summer weather, but other than that, I'm completely satisfied. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 31, 2019
It's relatively affordable. The smooth application makes it comfortable to use. It melts way too easily... Absolutely unusable in summer, and even in winter, if you put it in your pocket with a hand warmer... it's a total disaster waiting to happen. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2018
My lips were covered in dead skin cells, but after using this lip balm for just one day, they disappeared! I love matte lip products, but due to the excess dead skin, I'd buy them and never use them. Now my lips are moisturized and the dead skin cells vanish quickly, so I can finally wear them! I initially bought this product because my favorite idol was the model, but it exceeded my expectations by far. I've already used more than half of it! I've never used a lip balm product for this long before - it really seems to be an excellent product. While this summer was exceptionally hot, the product melted too easily. When I took it out to apply, it was a bit misshapen. Since it melts easily, I kept it in the fridge when not using it at home, and took it out when going outside. However, I noticed it tends to melt even more quickly when moving from a cold environment to a hot one! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJul 29, 2018
The subtle fragrance was just to my liking. Being a stick format, it's convenient to carry around. I've only had it for about 3 weeks, but it's already finished. It's not because it's moisturizing and I used a lot. Every time I use it, it crumbles excessively, becomes mushy, and breaks. Perhaps it's because this summer has been extremely hot? Still, I'm quite disappointed. What a waste of money! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2018
First off, the stick format makes it super convenient to apply. It feels like you're just coating your lips, you know? It's really like putting on a nourishing lip mask. As someone who doesn't prefer scented products, I was a bit taken aback by the slight honey scent when applying. I got used to it over time, but if you're sensitive to fragrances, you might want to check it out first. Also, since it's more of a nourishing lip balm, those with frequently dry lips might need a separate hydrating lip balm for moisture. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinApr 26, 2017
The scent isn't overpowering... It gives a nice glow... What else can I say... This might rank in the bottom 3 of all lip balms I've tried. It claims to be nourishing, but it looks more like I've just eaten a greasy pork belly. My lips inevitably dry out after washing my face or eating. It feels like it's just creating a barrier rather than moisturizing, as if to say 'not my problem' once it wears off. The packaging is flimsy too. It keeps escaping and falling on the floor, making me lose my patience and consider throwing it away. This product constantly makes me question why I'm still using it. It's a first to find a product with honey that lacks hydration. I'm at a loss for words... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2017
What I loved about this product is that it's not sticky at all. Even when applied over lip tint, it doesn't smudge the color underneath. The effects are great, and I'm definitely planning to repurchase. I got an amazing deal when I bought it on sale for just 4,000 won - such a bargain! Overall, I think this product is really fantastic. Hmm... if I had to mention a downside, it might be the scent? It's not particularly bad, but it's not especially good either. To be honest, I can't really find anything specific to criticize. If you apply a thick layer before bed - even to the point where you might think it's too much - you'll notice that any blemishes have calmed down by the next morning. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJan 30, 2017
It was moisturizing, but not as hydrating as I had hoped... I got a lot of blemishes, and while applying Vaseline helped a bit, well... I have dry skin and my lips were extremely parched, but this didn't seem to help at all. When I apply it to my lips, only the area where I put it feels moisturized, while the rest remains very dry, so I need to apply it separately... It's disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJan 22, 2017
The stick format was convenient to apply and it wasn't sticky. Being colorless, I could apply it generously, even beyond the lip line, and it was great for on-the-go use. Lastly, the amount was just right. However, perhaps due to its non-sticky nature, it didn't feel moisturizing when applied. It seemed to just sit on top of the lips at first, though it did absorb over time. But even after absorption, it didn't seem very effective. While it wasn't bad, I won't be repurchasing it. I'm quite firm about this decision! It seems good to apply over lip tint, but be careful as the tint might transfer onto the lip balm. That's a useful tip if you've already bought this. My real recommendation, though, is to skip this and opt for a cheaper, non-sticky, and more moisturizing lip balm instead. For example, try Nivea or Innisfree's honey lip balm, among others. That concludes my review.
