I snagged this at a great price during the Olive Young sale, and it's exceeded my expectations! It doesn't smudge, and the brush pen's fine tip makes for precise application. I was shocked to learn about the questionable ingredients. It applies well, but that's concerning. For a clean and pretty look, draw out the tail of the line and then smudge it gently with a cotton swab. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 2, 2020
It's easy to apply smoothly, even if you're not an expert, and it doesn't smudge much. It tends to remove in a messy way. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 12, 2020
Unlike other brush pen eyeliners that barely work even when shaken, this one lets you dispense just the right amount of liquid by simply pressing the button on the back. It makes drawing your eyeliner so much easier! I wasn't aware it contained some questionable ingredients. I might need to reconsider using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 21, 2019
It glides on smoothly. There's a click mechanism at the end, like a ballpoint pen, that releases the liner fluid when pressed. This reduces worries about it drying out. Controlling the amount is tricky. When you press once, not enough comes out, resulting in a faint line. Press twice, and too much comes out, creating a thick line. While it applies smoothly, trying to control the amount can cause the brush tip to split. Some people say it doesn't come off easily, but for me, it wipes off too well. Even after the eyeliner dries, it smudges, possibly due to oil. And if you cry once, it comes off completely. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJun 20, 2019
It's convenient that the liquid comes out when you press the back. No need to shake it. It glides on smoothly and easily. I'm not sure if it's because I have oily skin, but the staying power is really weak. It comes off completely with just one swipe. You probably won't even need to cleanse it off. Even without touching it, after 4-5 hours, the lines crack like a desert. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 20, 2019
Since my face tends to be oily, most eyeliners don't apply well. That's why I tried this one! Being a liquid liner, it glides on so smoothly. Plus, it doesn't budge easily once applied. The staying power is fantastic! Everyone will mention this - it's the product flow control. The liner dispenses when you press the tip, so you need to be careful and tap gently. Otherwise, it overflows. There's a slight tendency to smudge, and when I tried to remove it after applying incorrectly, it felt a bit irritating. I checked the ingredients list afterwards and felt a bit let down, though that might just be my imagination. You might not expect eyeliner tips, but here goes: When using the button at the end, gently tap it while watching the brush tip. When using it for the first time, don't forget to slightly loosen the brush. Also, always double-check that the cap is properly closed! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 26, 2018
I have oily eyelids and hooded eyes, so most eyeliners would smudge and fade after a few hours. But during a sale, the store assistant at Olive Young convinced me to try this one, and I thought, 'Why not?' The eyeliner adheres so well that it doesn't budge even hours later, which is fantastic. The quantity is generous - I've been using the same one for months. If you find it too light, you can adjust the intensity by clicking the pen to release more product. Unfortunately, it contains parabens, so I won't be repurchasing. The pen has a click mechanism to prevent the liquid from drying out, but if the product that's already come out dries up, it becomes hard and painful to apply. You'll need to wipe it off with a cleansing tissue. While the staying power is good, I can't recommend it due to the ingredients. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 22, 2018
Let me share my experience with this product... I saw a YouTuber using it and rushed to buy it myself. Initially, I loved it x999, but now... well, let me give you my review after a few months of use. The Hwahae Testers will appreciate: 1. It glides on super smoothly. One of this eyeliner's standout features is its incredibly soft brush! It's like a magnet - you want to draw a line, and boom, it's there! However... this smooth application means one shaky hand and your line is toast! 2. The click-button design allows for long-lasting use. Unlike other eyeliners, this one has a clicky end that you press to dispense product. It's fun to use, and you can control how much you need, making it last longer! 3. It's easy to remove. Some might see this as a plus, so I'm mentioning it here. It's both a pro and a con - for me, it leans more towards being a con. Unfortunately, this product didn't quite hit the mark for me. It just didn't work out. The Hwahae Testers should be aware: 1. It dries out easily. The formula tends to solidify quickly. Since you only dispense what you need, if you don't use it often, it dries up in the tip. I used to love the fresh, moist feel and would click it multiple times, but suddenly the product in the tip hardened and wouldn't draw well. No matter how much I tried to revive it (like trying to rekindle things with an ex), it just wouldn't work. 2. It's hard to control the amount. One click doesn't dispense enough, but two clicks are too much. I found it really difficult to get the right amount. I guess I'm better suited to regular brush-tip eyeliners... (crying buckets here). This one requires some serious skill. 3. It comes off easily. As mentioned earlier, this is both a pro and a con - for me, it's a con. As someone who puts on lenses after doing my makeup, I've been shocked more than once to find my eyeliner gone as soon as I put my lenses in. It's extremely vulnerable to water. If you wear this to the pool in summer, you might accidentally end up at an impromptu Halloween party. Run... away... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 28, 2018
Glides on smoothly without skipping, allowing for thin and precise lines. The color intensity is just right. After some use, the product output decreases, leaving it dry. Even clicking the back doesn't help, but then suddenly it bursts out unexpectedly. Store it upside down. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinFeb 13, 2018
I love how it draws thin, precise lines! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who prefers a subtle look. The pump at the back is a bit tricky. If you don't press the button, nothing comes out. But when you do press it 2-3 times, too much product gushes out, so you have to wipe some off on a tissue before using. Remember to shake well before use!
