They said my skin barrier had been compromised, and advised me to focus on moisturizing. I purchased some Hohouba oil, as I heard it's good for oily skin with dehydration issues. This oil is wonderful! I apply it morning and night, and my skin doesn't get red, itchy, or irritated at all. It's so nourishing and hydrating. Especially since the Melvita brand is organic, I'll be using this throughout the winter. Haha.
ConsThe dispenser is quite unusual. I thought it was a pump, so I bought it without much thought, but there's a big hole in it. If I tilt my hand, the oil drips out drop by drop. The oil gets all over the opening, which seems unhygienic. I wipe the opening each time I use it, but it's inconvenient.
TipAfter using the ampoule in the morning and evening, I apply a drop of the oil to my face and gently press it in. This keeps my skin hydrated all day long.

I previously received an Earth Science product as a gift and used it. My skin became so irritated, itchy, and stinging... so they gifted it to me... I applied it all over my body... There wasn't a significant difference, but it became less itchy and less stinging~ It seems it helped soothe my skin...I used up a whole bottle in less than a month... but I thought it wasn't bad(?) so I decided to try it more.^^ Purchasing Earth Science products seems inconvenient... (to ask that person...) While searching online for where to buy it, I ended up switching to Melvita.^^ Earth Science doesn't seem to be 100% hohouba. Melvita is 100% hohouba. Haha After using it, I found it's good for soothing. I tried the rosehip I bought together first, but it stung because my skin was sensitive... When I applied the hohouba again, I noticed an immediate reaction. The stinging subsided, and by the next day, my skin seemed a bit more soothed.^^ It's a great product. I haven't been using Melvita for long, but I'm satisfied enough to want to write a review.^^ It's not heavy at all.^^ That's surprising. It's not stuffy either. Even though it's an oil, you know... Haha The scent is not as strong as I expected... I usually don't like fragranced products. (The rosehip really smells like edible oil~ Haha) Especially, I like the pump packaging. Of course, it gets messy with the oil seeping through the pump (I use it while wiping), but it's better than a dropper in terms of exposure.^^ The glass bottle also gives a hygienic feel. I'll continue to repurchase it.^^
ConsWhat if the bottle doesn't open? I tried to open the plastic cap to apply more, but my hand slipped and it suddenly opened, startling me~ Haha It's not a big issue, but I'm just noting it down. Haha ** After using it more, I found that it can drip from the pump opening, so I'm using it while wiping.^^;; It's better than a dropper, but I'm not sure if this is an acceptable trade-off~^^;; (I think a dropper has more air exposure, which is less hygienic.)
Tip**Additional Review: This summer, it immediately relieved the itchiness and swelling from mosquito bites! I mainly use it in the morning and during the day. I use it on its own, and also mix it with my toner. I'm using it as an all-purpose mist instead of body lotion.^^ Since it's autumn, it's not too heavy or too light, and I'm satisfied. It's also good for my dry hair~^^ I'm using it in multiple ways.^^ I gave it to my mother, and she said it's not heavy and keeps her skin moisturized.^^

The one I used the most was the Pink One*Hoho ba oil, which I think was 99% pure. I used it up and then went looking for 100% pure hoho ba oil. Compared to what I used before, this one just feels better absorbed into my skin. There's no itchiness or redness either. For me, if something doesn't agree with my skin, I get itchy and red right away.
ConsThe dropper format made it a bit tricky to control the amount.
TipAfter doing the Fraxel treatment, my skin often gets irritated. That's because it's become more sensitive. For those with sensitive skin, please don't ever get the Fraxel treatment! I mixed the 4-skin toner and the oil in my palm and patted it in. Now I don't even need to apply anything more, and my skin doesn't feel tight anymore - it's great!

It feels like it absorbs well into the skin.
ConsHmm... there's really nothing. Except that the price is a bit high.
