The blue one is more hydrating than the pink one, helps reduce blackheads, and is gentle on the skin. I really like it! There's nothing bad to say. Just use it! Ha ha ha ha (This comment is just to meet the 20-character minimum) It's a steal at just 10,000 won during sales! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2020
No irritation when I had contact dermatitis, and it removes makeup completely. I got it for just 7000 won (7070 to be exact) - such a bargain! I usually preferred gel-type removers, but for heavy makeup or waterproof mascara, using a separate eye and lip remover was a hassle. Plus, their performance wasn't great, so I'd often resort to double cleansing with an oil cleanser and foam. We all know how tedious removing makeup can be. When you just want to quickly wash up and dive into bed or grab a bite, multi-step routines are the last thing you want. When I wasn't wearing heavy makeup, I'd use a water-based cleanser followed by foam. But as I ran out of products and my face turned into a sea squirt due to contact dermatitis, I had to overhaul all my cosmetics. That's why I can't ignore cost-effectiveness. If a product doesn't suit me, it's money down the drain. It's such a shame we can't easily get samples from various companies to test. I even had to cut down on using cotton pads to avoid skin irritation and minimize cleansing steps. So, I decided I needed an oil balm to remove everything in one go. I remembered loving Tony Moly's oil balm, but it seems to have been discontinued. That's when I decided to give this one a try. While it's not quite as nice as Tony Moly's sherbet oil balm, it's pretty close. The experience is... well, it's like scooping up sherbet. You rub it between your hands and massage it on your face, and you can see your makeup melting away creamily. Since it contains oil, when you rinse with lukewarm water, it turns milky white. It doesn't leave a slippery residue, but instead leaves your skin feeling hydrated and soft. I still followed up with a low pH foam cleanser just to be safe, but you could skip that step. Instead, you could use a toner-soaked cotton pad to remove any makeup residue and refine your skin texture. Despite the ingredients not being top-notch, surprisingly, it didn't irritate my contact dermatitis-prone skin. After finishing this, I tried the Dearperfume Migamsu Oil Cleanser, which has better ingredients, but it triggered my contact dermatitis. The advantage of oil balms is their pleasant texture, ability to remove even mascara in one go, and the convenience of reducing cleansing steps. Among oil balms, while Banila Co's is ranked #1 and has slightly better ingredients, this product seems to cleanse more effectively. Still, given my sensitive skin, I later bought one with better ingredients. But just because something has good ingredients doesn't mean it's good for my skin, so I'm considering buying this again. I'll update this review later with more thoughts! Unfortunately, it contains four potentially problematic ingredients, which is quite a lot. It doesn't flow like oil, so it's not overwhelming. It dissolves sebum that cleansing waters can't tackle. I've used about six jars, including the pink one. As someone with dry skin, I prefer the white version over the pink because it's more hydrating. Recently, I tried switching to cleansing water, but it couldn't dissolve sebum effectively, so I'm back to using this cleansing balm every other day! Since I regularly get eyelash extensions, using oily cleansing products definitely reduces the longevity of my lashes. Other than that, I have no complaints whatsoever. I'm extremely satisfied. - eo******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 14, 2019
I don't think it's much different from pink salt products. In conclusion, it's great! I wish it came in a larger size! I use it up so quickly. Even though I stock up on several when they're on sale, I'd still love to see a bigger version available. - mm*****Combination SkinRecommendedOct 27, 2019
I've found my holy grail cleansing balm! ud83dudc97 After trying various cleansing oils, waters, and creams, I had settled on a decent oil. But when I needed to make a purchase from Nature Republic, I stumbled upon this gem. I bought it on a whim to meet the order amount, and wow, did I hit the jackpot! I've been recommending it left and right, and now my friends only buy this cleansing balm and hair pack from Nature Republic. I'm currently on my 7th or 8th tub, and I can't find anything that compares. Even on days when I only wear sunscreen, I always double cleanse (except when I don't go out). This balm makes my first cleanse so gentle - my face feels less tight afterwards. I have extremely dry skin, so if it works this well for me, I imagine it would be even better for others. I tried another popular brand's cleansing balm to see if it was just balms in general that worked for me, but I didn't notice any significant improvement. So, I came right back to this one. With such a big price difference and similar effects, why spend more? The value for money is unbeatable. ud83dudc97Pink Salt & White Saltud83dudc99 I've tried both, but the Pink version is much more moisturizing and suits me better. Surprisingly, even though the White Salt is for combination to dry skin, the Pink version (for combination skin) works better for me. I've been sticking with the Pink Salt version ever since. The Hwahae Testers would be proud! The packaging is a bit of a downside. The spatula is really inconvenient. There's an inner cover over the product with the spatula resting on top. After the first use, when you open it again, the inner cover and spatula stick to the inside of the lid. I always end up dropping it at least once... ud83dude1e Pro tip: Buy it during sales - you can snag it for around $7! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2019
This product worked quite well for me. It effectively removed any type of makeup and felt gentle on my skin. If there's one thing that bothered me, it's that the scent wasn't really my style, unfortunately. - na*******Oily SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2019
Last time I used the famous 'Ba' cleansing balm, I got blemishes the next day and my skin felt tingly, so I thought I should never use cleansing balms again. However, this product isn't too harsh on the skin and washes off gently, which I really like. It has good cleansing effectiveness and doesn't leave an oily residue like cleansing oils, making it easy to rinse off with water. The ingredients aren't the best, unfortunately. The fragrance is a bit bothersome. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2019
After alternating between cleansing oils and waters, I've finally found my holy grail cleanser! It removes makeup incredibly well, leaving no tightness, and even takes off Kiss Me mascara effortlessly. This product is simply outstanding! I honestly can't think of any downsides! If I had to nitpick, maybe the amount of product is a bit less than expected for the size of the container? - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2019
I tried this cleansing balm for the first time today, and it's surprisingly nice. After rinsing, my skin feels slightly moisturized. I also appreciated that it comes with a spatula. The only downside is that it's a bit tricky to control the amount you use, but other than that, I liked it. - gp******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 2, 2019
I've been using this for about a month now, and it's absolutely fantastic! It's my first time trying a cleansing balm, and it removes makeup effortlessly with a fresh finish. I usually use oil cleansers, but the last one I tried completely wrecked my skin. On my way to Taro Shop to buy a cleansing cream, I stopped by to grab a hair mask (which is also great, by the way). The staff member was so enthusiastic in recommending this product that I decided to give it a shot - and I'm so glad I did! I even bought the recommending employee an Americano on my way to work as a thank you. I typically need to use a separate lip and eye makeup remover because I wear heavy makeup, but this balm removes everything in one go. It's truly effective at cleansing and leaves my skin feeling fresh. You might not believe it, but it's worth trying. The price is reasonable too, and I'm planning to stock up during the next sale. The balm texture makes me want to keep pressing it. It feels like I'm playing with a stress ball. I end up feeling like a kid again, which makes my cleansing routine take longer than it should. Just keep that in mind! If you happen to pass by this product, please do yourself a favor and grab one. It's such a holy grail item that there's not much else to say.
