I was really worried when I suddenly got blemishes, but this cleanser helped calm my skin down a lot. It seems worth using even though it's expensive. It feels a bit mild, but when I double cleanse with a cleansing oil, it actually irritates my face. It's a bit pricey, so I'm planning to buy it duty-free next time. - ch********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2022
The scent is unique yet soft and elegant. Despite having oily skin, the foam doesn't disappear and maintains well throughout cleansing. (Those with oily skin will understand... usually facial oils eat up all the foam, right?) I liked that it's gentle yet seems to have good cleansing effectiveness. I haven't really found any downsides yet! Perhaps the price might be a bit steep for a cleansing product? - ha*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 9, 2021
First off, the fragrance is lovely. It doesn't lather much, possibly due to its low pH, but once you've rinsed it off, your skin feels thoroughly cleansed. It doesn't leave your face feeling squeaky clean, but there's no greasy residue or sense of incomplete cleansing, which I really appreciate. As someone with blemish-prone skin, I didn't notice any particular improvement in that area. However, I will say that after cleansing, my skin didn't feel dried out or tight. - su********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2020
This cleanser has a pleasant herbal scent and comes in a gel form. I mainly use it for my morning cleanse or when I need a quick wash. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight, and it ensures I at least do a minimal cleanse every day, which I really appreciate. It lathers up better than I expected, and after using it, I notice my blemishes seem to calm down a bit. Being a department store product, it's on the pricier side, but considering its effectiveness, I think it's worth it. If you're willing to invest in your skincare... it shouldn't be an issue. Though I must say, the name is quite a mouthful! - el*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2020
I knew this was for oily skin, but I liked how it cleansed without stressing my skin. I once had a bad reaction to a low pH product, so I've been using squeaky-clean cleansers since. I bought this on recommendation and I'm using it well. I love the finish - it doesn't leave my skin dry, but it's not slippery either. The container looks small, but it lasts quite a while. It's a product you can use well in all seasons. It doesn't lather much, but you get used to it. If I've done an oil cleanse first, I use a more thorough cleanser. I mainly use this one in the morning. The ingredients aren't great, so I probably won't repurchase when it runs out. Still, it's a product I might think about again later. The scent and feel are nice, and I didn't have any blemishes from it. Since it doesn't lather well, you need to work it a bit with your hands. When I have uneven skin texture, I sometimes use it with a sponge. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2020
I love the feel of the fine foam. Highly recommended as a second-step cleanser. Its cleansing effectiveness isn't too strong, which is why it's great as a second-step cleanser. - se**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 9, 2019
Skin type: Sensitive (prone to redness), Combination (oily T-zone), Acne-prone before menstruation Interestingly, I don't get many blemishes on my cheeks, but they tend to appear along my jawline, near my ears, and between my eyebrows. While I don't have severe acne, I'm always dealing with a few spots, so I'm very particular about acne products. Plus, I avoid squeezing them to prevent scarring, so I'm obsessed with cleansing. That's why: - This cleansing gel is perfect for acne-prone skin with quick results. It's a must-have for problematic skin - it really works! - The foam is incredible - one pump is enough, no need for a foam maker. It's like an automatic foam dispenser... so bubbly! - The scent is amazing - totally my style Though I'm a bit concerned about fragrances, I absolutely love this scent Everyone's raving about low pH these days, and while this product isn't low pH, it leaves your skin feeling smooth after cleansing, just like a low pH cleanser. No tightness at all. I'm currently using two low pH foams: <Real Barrier Control-T Cleansing Foam and Round A'Round Green Tea Foam>. Both are decent, but Real Barrier doesn't seem to suit me well. I'll keep using it a bit longer to be sure. This product contains 10 potentially irritating ingredients, but it's surprisingly effective considering that. However, consistent and moderate use is key for best results. - Ingredients: Even if they've used minimal amounts of certain ingredients to reduce irritation, problematic ingredients are still problematic. When I first found out, I felt so disappointed and betrayed that I complained to Sisley. I thought Sisley products had zero concerning ingredients! I used to use almost exclusively Sisley products (cleansers, emulsions, creams, sunscreens, body creams, shower gels, etc.). Now I carefully check ingredients before using anything. - Texture: It feels slippery. Make sure to rinse thoroughly. - Dislike the dispenser: When pumping, it feels like the product keeps seeping back into the container. These days, I compare products on Hwahae before buying, even cheaper ones, as I'm more ingredient-conscious now. I used to assume all inexpensive products were bad, but I've changed my mindset. What works for me is what matters most. (You can quickly check concerning ingredients on the Hwahae app, which probably keeps brands on their toes. It seems even Sisley is starting to improve their formulations, beginning with their Velvet Cream. Just my observation.) One pump dispenses a generous amount. Those with perfect skin might not notice much effect. This product isn't for them. It's specifically for those dealing with acne issues. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2019
This is my holy grail product, no joke! After cleansing, there's absolutely zero feeling of tightness. My skin feels incredibly smooth, and I can really notice the improvement in texture. I accidentally dropped it once and it shattered immediately... Sisley really needs to invest more in their packaging quality. While this product is marketed for blemishes, it's gentle enough for use on the entire face! It's so mild and doesn't cause any dryness. Even after double cleansing, my skin never ever feels dry! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 7, 2018
1. Skin type: I often get pustular acne on my forehead and cheeks, with an oily T-zone and a dehydrated oily U-zone. However, since this cleanser doesn't aggressively strip oils, it should be suitable for use unless you have extremely dry skin. 2. Cleansing effectiveness: While it doesn't lather much, it cleanses thoroughly. Most importantly, it has significantly reduced the occurrence of my pustular acne. This product was the first to make me realize the importance of a good cleanser. The only slight disappointment is that it doesn't produce much foam! Apart from this one point, I'm extremely satisfied with it. - da********Oily SkinAcne SkinJan 31, 2018
It cleanses thoroughly while feeling gentle on the skin! I use a brush to create a lather, and when I wash carefully, it cleanses well. After rinsing, my skin still feels moisturized. My skin used to have small bumps, but they're disappearing! There's nothing I particularly dislike about it! I'm using it happily! Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly, like with soap, before dispensing the product to create a lather. If there's any residue on your hands, it won't foam up well. Using a brush to create foam and cleansing every nook and cranny of your face seems to be even more effective! I've been doing this every evening during my cleansing routine, and I think it's really improved my skin!
