First off, the color is absolutely gorgeous. I love how easy it is to create a gradient effect. The hydration level is perfect for summer use without feeling heavy. The ingredients... well, they're quite interesting to say the least. I can only imagine what changes might occur if these components enter my body. Laneige is changing their formula. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 5, 2019
I bought this as a gift for my mom, and after trying it, she told me, 'I absolutely love it. It feels so moisturizing!' I borrowed it briefly to swatch it on my wrist for a photo, and it truly felt as hydrating as a lip balm. It didn't seem to emphasize dead skin cells at all. The color is beautiful, and seeing how satisfied my mom was made me feel great! The staying power was a bit disappointing! When I swatched it on my wrist, it seemed to stain quite well. However, it didn't seem to adhere as well to the lips. My mom applied it before eating, but when I checked after her meal, it had almost completely worn off. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 31, 2019
The color is truly beautiful. It makes your lips look moisturized and creates a natural gradient lip effect effortlessly. It's a product I frequently use for touch-ups. If you're someone who finds intensely pigmented colors overwhelming, you'll be satisfied with this product. The staying power wasn't particularly impressive. Also, the process of pulling out and putting back the applicator feels a bit stiff. When using it, you need to hold it upside down for the product to come up, which was a bit inconvenient at first. Apart from that, I was generally satisfied with it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 14, 2019
Since it's a lip balm, you don't need to worry about dead skin cells or anything like that. It creates a natural gradient effect, and the color builds up subtly. That's why you can just apply this before heading to school and be good to go. If you apply it multiple times, it tends to clump. The price is also quite steep, and it contains 12 potentially irritating ingredients, which is concerning. The case gets dirty quickly too... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 2, 2019
It's a delightful blend of lip balm and lipstick, giving a moisturizing feel when applied. The color is a beautiful coral shade that's universally flattering and suitable for everyone. Like other products in the two-tone series, this one also comes in a small quantity. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 27, 2018
I absolutely love this! I have a slightly fair complexion and use shade 21. My lips tend to get dry and flaky, so I often struggle with lipsticks, but this is my holy grail lip product! It's truly a game-changer for me! The perfect balance of moisture and color payoff! First off, the color is gorgeous! Plus, with the lip balm on one end, it's so easy to touch up my makeup - just a quick swipe creates a beautiful two-tone gradient effect. This is my second purchase! Thank you so much. Ah, the quantity is a bit on the smaller side. I know most lip products are like this, but since it's my favorite lip product, I use it every day and it feels like it runs out quickly... (It's actually a standard amount though) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 20, 2018
It has excellent moisturizing properties, similar to a lip balm. The subtle pink shade works beautifully as an eyeshadow, and I've received many compliments on how natural and pretty the color looks. I bought it without testing the color on my lips, and it turns out it doesn't match my lip color at all. It sits awkwardly on my lips and severely emphasizes dead skin cells. The inner part of the product seems to have broken off right after purchase, making it difficult to apply all the way. I've given up on using this as a lip product. When I tried using it as an eyeshadow, I found it blends naturally with my complexion, giving a lovely effect. This alternative use has barely saved the product from being a total waste. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 6, 2018
The Laneige Two Tone Tint Lip Bar is fantastic! The color isn't too intense, which is great. Since it's mixed with lip balm, it feels like you're applying a tinted lip balm. This eliminates many of the drawbacks typically associated with lip products. A quick swipe leaves a nice tint that stays put, and the staying power is quite impressive. I'm very satisfied with it. The design is also beautiful, so if you're on the fence, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try! The only slight confusion is that the direction to apply upwards is reversed from what you might expect. However, you'll get used to it with continued use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 22, 2018
As someone with generally dry skin, I found this product surprisingly hydrating! The color is a nice transparent coral-like shade, making it perfect for a quick swipe before heading out. The staying power leaves something to be desired... It seems to wear off quickly, even without eating anything. Over time, it tends to settle into lip lines. Overall, it's just an average performer in my book. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2018
▷Well... the case is pretty. The color seems versatile enough to suit anyone. ▷There's a sense of convenience from the feeling of being able to apply two colors at once, and a pride in making a practical purchase... ▷It feels good to buy, and the mint color is a unique and eye-catching feature rarely seen in lip products. They've done a great job with the marketing. ▷It seems like a good one to get just for display purposes. For display purposes, that is... ▷Oh, and it's moisturizing too~ ▷The staying power is terrible. Beauty YouTuber Kim D* recently mentioned in a video that it has good staying power, but I had to rewatch it because I couldn't believe it. No matter how much cosmetics can vary from person to person, I can't believe anyone would say this has good staying power..! ▷Honestly, I don't think it's particularly cheap either. I'd recommend just buying two or three Clio or Peripera lipsticks during an Olive Young sale instead. ▷The gradient effect doesn't work as well as you'd think. It just seems to mix into one color when applied. This would be especially true for those with thin lips. The square shape is also more inconvenient to use than expected. ▷Not only does it lack staying power, but it also barely stains, so you have to keep reapplying it, which is a hassle... ▷I didn't realize it before, but looking at it now, the ingredients aren't great either. It has a moisturizing formula which makes it easier to ingest, yet it has more harmful ingredients than other lipsticks. Stupid! ▷For something that's supposed to be moisturizing, it lacks that 'pretty lips' effect. It's hard to explain this feeling, but anyway, it makes dead skin cells look a bit white and floaty on the lips.
