Being an oil tint, it's moisturizing and doesn't settle into fine lines. Unlike water tints, it's easy to apply evenly. It gives a glass-like shine, which is especially great for winter when you're prone to dry, flaky skin. The staying power is decent for a glossy tint, and this particular shade is lovely and fresh. I'd recommend this shade. I also tried the Common Salmon Oil shade that I received as a gift, and the Cherry Tomato shade is perfect for students. Oh no... I dropped it and the cap broke... How can it break so easily? Now I'm left with only the Common Salmon Oil shade, which I don't use much as a student because the color isn't very intense. Also, being glossy, if you're not careful when applying, it can look like you've just eaten something greasy, and your hair sticks to it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 10, 2019
This lip tint is incredibly moisturizing, even on my extremely dry lips!! It's in a completely different league from those oily, shiny tints. This one feels like a nourishing serum for your lips, providing intense hydration with just the right amount of richness as it absorbs. I highly recommend this to anyone with dry, flaky lips or those who prefer a more luminous tint look. The scent is delightfully sweet, not like the typical artificial fruity fragrance found in many cosmetics. However, it might be a bit polarizing, so those sensitive to strong scents may want to avoid it. Some of my friends loved the color but found the scent too intense to use regularly. The texture is wonderfully thick and adheres well. Unlike other tints that can pill when layered, this one plays nicely with other products. It's especially great as a base under matte lipsticks when your lips are feeling dry - much better than a regular lip oil! The staining effect is disappointingly pink. While it has a slight pink tint when first applied, the lasting stain is an intense cool-toned pink. I bought this expecting a red or red-orange shade based on the 'Cherry Tomato' name, but it's far from that. Unless you're specifically looking for a pink tint, I'd advise against this color. The packaging looks rather cheap, unfortunately. While 7000 won isn't expensive, it's on the pricier side for Etude House tints. Compared to their 4-5000 won options, the design of this case is quite underwhelming. Of course, this is subjective, but personally, I find the design really disappointing. If you've bought this tint and can't use it due to the pink staining like me, I recommend trying it as a blusher! It creates a surprisingly natural look, almost like your own natural flush. You can definitely wear it to school without anyone noticing it's makeup! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJan 27, 2019
The glossy texture is perfect for when your lips are dry or chapped. The lid breaks too easily and leaks frequently. I bought three from this series, and all of them broke. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 6, 2018
The color was nice, and since my lips are dry, matte products don't suit me. I love how moisturizing this oil tint is. Even though I closed the cap properly, it leaked so much that my entire makeup pouch turned bright red. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 22, 2018
Everyone raves about Etude's gorgeous color cosmetics, so as a beauty novice, this was my first tint purchase. The color is so pretty that everyone complimented me! It's super moisturizing, which is perfect for my dry skin! I'm not sure if it's an issue with the packaging, but it leaks so much... I bought two, and both have the same problem. The lid on one of them even broke while I was trying to open it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 25, 2018
This is the only tint I've ever used down to the last drop! My lips tend to be dry, but this tint is so moisturizing that I didn't get any dead skin cells on my lips! Plus, the color is beautiful. I'm definitely considering repurchasing. It doesn't stain very well. And the staying power isn't particularly impressive... haha. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 11, 2017
This is an amazing moisturizing product, highly recommended for winter. It doesn't emphasize flaky skin. At first, I thought it would be a clear red, but it gradually turns into a hot pink... It looks beautiful when used for a gradient effect. The moisturizing power is great, so you don't necessarily need to apply lip balm before using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 20, 2017
It's incredibly moisturizing and the color is beautiful, so I use it almost every day. There's no exfoliation or dryness, and I used to bite my lips ten times, but now it's only twice since using this product. Haha. It leaks a lot... I was worried after reading the comments that others said it leaks, but at first it didn't leak, so I used it without worry. But after more than 2 weeks, it started leaking a lot... The inside of my bag is all stained because I didn't put it in a pouch. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 5, 2017
The color is so, so, so, so beautiful! It's a pink, but I guess the saturation is a bit high? That's how the swatch turns out. But it's not a full-on hot pink, it's a deeper shade... It's totally my style and goes well with all my clothes - it's amazing!! It's not as deep as I thought it would be, and it's just so pretty. And the smell, haha, it's really fragrant and so nice. It's also moisturizing and the hydration isn't bad either! There wasn't really any major downside that I can think of. The only thing is that the initial moisturizing effect doesn't last that long? And it might be a bit too deep in color to wear to school, but that's about it. This tint creates such a beautiful gradient effect! I also bought the Etude House Juicy Tint in the same color - I got the lip concealer too. First, I apply a lip balm (I use Carmex) to moisturize my lips. Then, I use the concealer to even out the edges and blend it in. After that, I lightly dab on this tint and blend it again. Since it's going over the concealer, it won't turn out as intense. If you still feel it's not enough, you can use the applicator tip to add a little more. The Juicy Tint also has a slightly paler lip balm part - I just dab my fingertip in that and apply it to the edges of my bottom lip. It's just a subtle touch. After doing all that and blending with your fingers, the gradient effect turns out so pretty! It also makes your lips look fuller. I really recommend getting the Juicy Tint and the lip concealer together when you purchase this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 25, 2017
It was better than the previous Deardaling as it didn't leak and was more moisturizing, so my lips didn't feel dry. The color was pink, and when I swatched it on my wrist, it was red, so I purchased it, but when I applied it to my lips, it swatched as a pink-purple color, which was disappointing and unsatisfactory.
