I bought this online. It's amazing when my skin isn't super sensitive. The coverage is slightly above medium. When my skin is sensitive, it completely ruins my complexion. The shade is quite bright. I have a darker complexion, so I chose beige, but it's still about 1.2 times lighter than my skin tone. It settles into wrinkles. On my skin, there's a slight glow or rich feeling. If you're planning to apply it thickly in one go, I'd recommend a foundation instead. With this BB cream, your face might look a bit pale. I suggest using the blue 5000 won puff from Olive Young to apply it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 31, 2018
Even as a guy, I found the color wasn't overwhelming, which I really appreciated Despite having skin that leans towards oily, I'm noticing a lot of small blemishes popping up - dl*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsApr 2, 2018
The coverage and application were excellent. It did a great job of concealing pores too. My skin flaked due to dead skin cells, and it looked odd when the makeup broke down. I think it would be better if it applied smoothly without pilling and kept the skin moisturized. - je******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 19, 2017
This is my first time using a BB cream, and I chose it after researching the ingredients on Hwahae! I was torn between Innisfree Long Wear and this one, but after testing, I felt this product was better, so I bought it and I'm using it well. The coverage is surprisingly good, and it fades gracefully without being noticeable. What I love most is the powdery finish it gives after application! Since I haven't tried other BB creams, I'm not sure about any downsides yet. *Updated on Feb 6, 2018 At first, I thought it suited me, but I was wrong. It feels like it's sitting on top of my skin, similar to the Swan Cocos White Swan Cushion? It doesn't adhere well to the skin, and if you lightly swipe it with your finger, it moves right off. The more you apply, the more suffocating it looks. Before using this BB cream, I used cushion foundations, and while this causes fewer blemishes than those, I still noticed some small bumps here and there. Recently, I bought Inga foundation after seeing a Facebook ad. Though I've only used it for a few days, it has similar ingredients to this BB cream but doesn't seem to cause bumps. The Inga foundation has amazing adherence! If you dab a tissue right after applying the foundation, a little comes off, but after some time, hardly anything transfers. The coverage is surprisingly better than the BB cream, and even with layering, it doesn't look heavy. I'm really liking it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 8, 2017
It applied smoothly when I used my hands, and the coverage was excellent. While it didn't cause any blemishes, I noticed it faded rather quickly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 22, 2017
The color doesn't have an ashy undertone, so I could use it naturally. My skin tone is usually between 21 and 22, and I liked that it looked natural and didn't dry out my skin too much. I have dry skin and prefer a dewy, moisturized look, but I didn't particularly feel that it brightened or hydrated my complexion like pearls as the name suggests. It was just average. For those with dry skin who love a dewy look, mixing it with Etude's Water Glow Base or applying it beforehand will be much more helpful. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 28, 2017
It's truly moisturizing, I must say. I bought it to mix with my thick Estée Lauder foundation, and I think it absorbs really well. First off, it caused some blemishes for me. This might vary from person to person, but that was my experience. Also, it oxidizes quite quickly, even when mixed with Estée Lauder. When mixing, I'd suggest using less of this product for better results. Applying it with a brush and then patting it in seems to improve how well it adheres to the skin. - cr*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 6, 2017
The coverage is pretty decent and it seems to give a nice glow! While it might be noticeable up close, from a distance you can definitely fake that 'good skin' look! Gray. It's just pure gray. Whenever I wear this, my older sister always asks why I look so ashy. It's heartbreaking! Also, possibly due to the stearic acid, it seems to cause some small blemishes. Be careful! - sa*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinMay 26, 2017
Absorbs well and feels moisturizing when applied. It has good coverage, effectively concealing blemishes. There's hardly any grayish tint. The staying power is short, and it doesn't wear off gracefully. It tends to separate on the nose and cheeks later on, and the clumping is disappointing. Also, when applied to the face, it appears much lighter than the formula color. For those prone to dead skin cells showing or with dry skin, be meticulous with your skincare and base. Pay attention to the amount used, applying very small quantities in thin layers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 14, 2017
I bought this based on the store associate's recommendation. The coverage and adherence are both decent. It tends to break down after a while, and I don't feel inclined to repurchase it.
