  I don't usually use the Kiehl's line, but this one is truly amazing! As a woman living in dry, sun-drenched California, getting older, and dealing with very dry skin, this product is a godsend. When applied, it feels pleasantly rich and seems to absorb within 30 minutes. The rich texture feels great on both face and neck. I've never experienced an allergic reaction, and I'm considering repurchasing! Highly recommended for those with dry skin~

  Cons

  The quantity is small compared to the price... The store staff said it would last long even if I used only a little, but is using one bottle for about 5 months considered excessive use?

  It seems to absorb into the skin quickly. I mainly used it as a night cream, and I feel like my complexion is improving.

  Cons

  Pros

  I tried the sample I got with my skincare purchase first, and it worked so well for me that I decided to buy the full size! While many people reported severe allergic reactions, I'm fortunate that it suits me perfectly. It even helped clear up my existing blemishes! I have combination dehydrated skin that's also sensitive - I often get hive-like allergic reactions if I use the wrong products. Although the texture isn't particularly light, it absorbs well into the skin. It's moisturizing without being sticky. After applying just toner and this, my skin seems to have a natural glow!

  Cons

  It's a bit annoying to have to rub it between your fingers, and if you don't, it can pill and look white at first. When I first used the sample, I didn't know the proper application method and was surprised by the initial appearance.

  Tip

  I layer this with the Beyond Moisture Cream for an extra boost of hydration. It feels like it doubles the moisturizing effect!

  Pros

  First off, I love this scent! My mom and I use it together - she has dry skin while I have combination dehydrated skin. Mom says: 'It seems to absorb quickly while firming the skin.' I also feel like it creates an extra protective layer at night (warming it in your hands first definitely helps). Anyway, both 30-somethings and 60-somethings in our house are using it!

  Cons

  It's true that it can feel a bit lacking in hydration. So some days I mix it with oil! This definitely makes the texture softer and solves the moisture issue. As I mentioned above, I like this kind of scent, but the fragrance might be hit or miss for some people!

  Tip

  Warm it up in your hands and gently press it into your face!

  I thought it was great that it absorbed well into my skin on the first day of use

  Cons

  Although I have combination skin and rarely react badly to skincare products, this one left my skin incredibly dry from my cheeks to my jawline after using just two samples. My skin became so dehydrated that it felt rough, and dead skin cells appeared as white flakes all over. Even exfoliating didn't help, so I had to buy a regenerating cream to repair the damage.

  It has a lightweight texture with a slightly slippery feel, and the product absorbs quickly into the skin

  Cons

  After using this product, my entire face became severely swollen the next day, and blemishes appeared. I had to go to the hospital and undergo treatment with medication for two weeks! The staff said it was suitable for sensitive skin, so I tried it... but it seems like an absolutely unacceptable product!

  When I first applied it, the absorption and hydration were really nice. I was like 'Wow, this is amazing!' as I put it on.

  Cons

  I had healthy skin, neither blemish-prone nor super sensitive. But after using this product, my face completely flipped out. My skin became bumpy, red, itchy, and dry. I thought I was going crazy. I came to check the reviews and found many others with the same experience. I'll have to check for allergy-triggering ingredients and avoid products with those in the future. It's been days, and my skin is slow to recover. It's truly awful... sigh.

  The absorbs well and seems to absorb nicely, so I had high hopes

  Cons

  But the next day after applying, my face turned red and became bumpy like millet. Later, my eyes to cheeks were swollen and itchy... I went to the dermatologist for soothing care, and the redness improved a bit, but my face is still rough... My skin wasn't perfect before, but it used to feel soft to the touch. I was already using Kiehl's basics, so I bought this on an employee's recommendation. It's not even an inexpensive product, and since I've already used it, I can't return it. I've just wasted my money.
