I had just finished my previous lipstick when I decided to try the Mad Matte lipstick I received for my birthday recently. I was thrilled to find it's exactly the shade I love! If you're into nude tones, you'll probably adore this. It's not overly pink, but has a subtle coral mix which I really appreciate. The color payoff is fantastic, and it truly doesn't transfer. Even after 3 hours, it stayed put without fading - the staying power is impressive! I'd recommend this to anyone who prefers matte lips and uses shade 21. As someone who doesn't typically go for matte lips, I found this a bit too drying for my taste. It seemed to emphasize dead skin cells and had some pilling issues. Even after moisturizing thoroughly before application, it still felt too matte for me. I discovered it looks beautiful when topped with a clear, shimmery lip gloss! The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's not too intense, giving a beautiful nude-like tint. The staying power isn't bad at all, and it applies smoothly even when you're in a rush! It tends to accentuate dead skin cells a bit. Also, it's a bit messy when it comes off on straws or cups, which is disappointing. And it seems to wear off rather quickly, which is a shame.

The texture is incredibly lightweight - you'll barely feel it on your lips! It's perfect for creating gradients with bolder lip colors. I use this as a base, then apply Clio Virgin Kiss Tinted Lip in 'Reddish' on the inner part of my lips for a beautiful gradient effect. It's a must-have for smoky makeup looks, especially when you want to emphasize your eyes! The color payoff is amazing! Even those who think 'nude lipsticks have no pigmentation' will be impressed. The staying power is incredible! It clings to your lips no matter what you eat. For nude lips, matte finishes are usually more flattering, and this one nails it! If you have severe dry skin and your lips tend to crack and bleed, this product might not be suitable for you. Those who dislike nude lips or prefer bold lip makeup might not be satisfied with this product. It looks great applied as a full lip color or blended with darker shades for a gradient effect. As it's a nude shade, you can achieve a beautiful look just by swiping it on quickly!
