This is an all-purpose cream that is great for use like Vaseline! But I find that Vaseline doesn't agree with my skin - before I had extremely dry skin, it used to work well for me, but after my skin became extremely dry, applying Vaseline directly to my face makes it unbearably itchy and I can't use it. The formula is simple and gentle with good moisturizing power, but it doesn't make my face feel as greasy as Vaseline. I tried using it like a lip balm, and it makes my lips soft and smooth. It seems better than many regular lip balms. My lips have been sensitive lately from using a toothpaste that doesn't agree with me, but this one continues to work well without causing any flaky skin on my lips.
