It's great for my reddish complexion - it brightens while also toning down the redness The downside is that you need to exfoliate well before applying it - dl*******Dry SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2021
I bought this before because I had redness, and it provided decent coverage. That's why I always apply it before my base makeup. The slightly runny texture was fine even for my dry skin. It's such a shame it's been discontinued. I'll have to find an alternative... Just squeeze out a small amount and spread it thinly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2020
I loved how it naturally brightened my skin. It also did a great job covering up my redness, which was fantastic. The downside is its lack of hydration. I wouldn't recommend using it during seasonal changes. If you mix it with a facial oil, you can boost its moisturizing power significantly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2020
Pretty decent, I think it's good enough to use on its own. I'm just using it as is. Well, the amount seems a bit small. It might be better if it came in a pump bottle instead of a squeeze tube. - bu*****Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 27, 2020
It covers redness really well and the coverage lasts quite long. This is a truly useful holy grail product when you don't want the hassle of heavy foundation - just swipe it on quickly and your skin looks polished. However, as I was about to write this review, I noticed it's been discontinued. If you're looking for a color-correcting base, you might want to check unofficial online sellers. It's genuinely such a great product. - cu*********Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 18, 2020
I have normal skin type and while my pores aren't particularly large, they're still noticeable, which led me to buy this primer. It was the most affordable option, so I didn't expect much. But wow! When I applied cushion foundation over the primer, not only did it enhance the coverage, but it also subtly concealed my pores. The longevity is fantastic too, so I'm really enjoying using it. I'm absolutely amazed! There's nothing I dislike about the product itself. The only disappointing thing is that it's been discontinued now. Here's a pro tip: On days when you need your makeup to last longer or need better coverage, this primer really delivers on both longevity and coverage. - sy********Combination SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2020
1. Makeup longevity 2. Brightening effect 3. No pilling First off, it could be because I switched cushions, but the makeup staying power is incredibly long-lasting, which I absolutely love. I'm a fan of a fair complexion, and this alone makes my skin look much brighter - even more than most foundations or BB creams! After applying my full face, I might look a bit like a geisha, but since my makeup tends to break down quickly, it doesn't end up that way once I'm ready to go out. Many people seem to use primers to cover pores, but since I don't have visible pores, I can't really comment on that aspect. My previous primer was great but it was discontinued. I was looking for one with a brightening effect and found this - it's amazing! I hope it comes back in stock for rocket delivery soon. With my old primer, I was always nervous about pilling, but with this one, I can apply it carelessly without any issues. It doesn't feel overly rich either. The only downside might be that if you apply too much, it can make you look extremely pale. People with darker skin tones probably won't be able to use this. If you tend to have a dewy base makeup, it's best to wait a bit after your skincare routine before applying this primer. The color might not show up well if you apply it right away. It's better to let your skin absorb your base products a little first. Also, since it can make you look very pale if you use too much, it's best to apply just a small amount. - rw*****Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessMay 24, 2020
It seemed to focus solely on providing hydration. The amount was really generous. Despite being a primer, it failed to conceal pores. While the green tint slightly masked redness, it ended up turning my skin green. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 18, 2020
I loved how the primer smoothed out my pores and gave my skin a radiant glow before applying the cushion foundation It's all about controlling the amount. If you fail to do so, you might end up looking like a Kabuki actor with too much makeup - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2020
I've used up one tube and I'm already on my second one! Here's why I love it: 1. It evens out my complexion beautifully. I usually wear very light makeup, but I have severe redness that often leads to people asking if I'm hot, cold, or angry. It's been quite annoying. However, when I use this as a base and top it with a non-darkening sunscreen, my skin looks even and healthy, as if I'm not wearing any makeup at all. It's perfect for those days when I don't want to wear makeup but still want to address my redness - I just apply this and sunscreen, and I'm good to go. 2. It works as a primer. While I can't say it's exceptional, it does a decent job at creating a nice canvas for makeup application. 3. The price is typical Etude House excellence! Since you don't need to use a lot of product each time, it feels like great value for money. For me, there weren't any significant drawbacks. It worked well without any issues. I've been using this product when I want to even out my skin tone but still maintain a natural look.
