•If you apply it with your hands, it can get streaky and leave marks. It's best to use a dense brush to apply it quickly but thoroughly, then finish by lightly tapping it with a sponge. This will make your skin look really nice.
•It's so matte that it dries quickly. After applying it on your face, blend it as fast as possible, or apply it in sections.


•Korean BB creams and American BB creams are different. They may both be called BB creams, but the formulas are more like tinted moisturizers, just a bit heavier. The coverage is also lower compared to Korean BB creams.
•The shades are way too pink-toned. I bought the Fair and Light shades, but my natural skin tone is a bit more yellow. When I apply it just on my face, it looks so different from my neck, so I have to blend it down to my neck as well.
•Acne-prone skin should steer clear... but I still use it anyway... As long as you cleanse well after using it, it's still alright.
•The area around my nose, mouth, and chin tends to get patchy. It's worse on days when I don't do a thorough skincare routine. I don't usually do touch-ups, but you can lightly dab a bit of cushion foundation over those areas if needed.

•American beauty YouTubers kept recommending it, so I tried it too, and oh my god.. If you have oily skin, you should give it a try. I live in the US and I stock up on it whenever it's on sale at the local drugstore. As someone with combination oily and acne-prone skin, this keeps my face matte for up to 6-7 hours. I love Covergirl products, but I tend to avoid them because they often cause breakouts, but I can't help but use this one. This is the first foundation/BB cream that has stayed as matte as Estee Lauder Double Wear after application. It's so matte, but not in an uncomfortable way, even for my very oily skin. There's also minimal emphasis on pores and texture. Dry-skinned folks should do a thorough skincare routine and it should work well for them.
•It doesn't completely stop oil production, but it blends with the oil to make the skin super smooth and glowy... I love it so much ㅠㅠ
•The coverage is also satisfactory for me. It doesn't completely conceal deep, dark scars, but it covers them in a fairly natural way. It's like 'my skin but better' kind of effect.

While the product is very affordable considering the price, it may lead some foundation enthusiasts to believe that there are better matte foundations available at more reasonable prices. Though it may not be a product that they fully commit to, it can still be worth a try.
Despite my oily skin type, I did feel some tightness, so I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin types.

I purchased and used both the 520 and 530 shades. I wanted to use them for contouring, but the color difference isn't that significant. Except that the 520 shade has a brighter look.
The application is dewy. The finish is completely matte. The longevity is pretty good. The coverage is also nice.
