•The price is incredibly reasonable. Depending on where you buy it, it ranges from $5-$10. •American beauty YouTubers kept recommending it, so I tried it and oh my goodness... If you have oily skin, you must give this a try. I live in the US and stock up on this during drugstore sales. I have extremely oily, acne-prone skin, and this keeps me matte for up to 6-7 hours. I've been trying to avoid CoverGirl products because they keep causing breakouts, but I can't help reaching for this one. It's the first foundation/BB cream that stays this matte since Estée Lauder Double Wear. It's super matte, but not to the point where my face feels like it's cracking - probably because I'm so oily. It doesn't emphasize pores or texture much either. For those with dry skin, it should be fine with thorough skincare prep. •It doesn't completely stop oil production, but it blends with the oils to make your skin look incredibly smooth and glowy... I love it so much! •I'm also satisfied with the coverage. While it doesn't completely hide deep, dark blemishes, it covers them naturally to some extent. It gives that 'my skin but better' look. •Korean BB creams and American BB creams are different. This is called a BB cream, but the formula is more like a tinted moisturizer, just a bit heavier. The coverage is also lower compared to Korean BB creams. •The color is really, really pink. I bought Fair and Light, but my natural skin tone is more yellow. If I only apply this to my face, there's a noticeable difference with my neck, so I have to apply it down to my neck as well. •Those with acne-prone skin should avoid this... although I still use it (that's the catch). If you cleanse well after use, it seems to be okay. •It tends to crack around the nose, mouth, and chin areas. It's worse on days when I've been lazy with skincare. I don't usually touch up my makeup, so I just leave it, but you can pat a bit of cushion foundation to fix it if needed. •It pills if you apply it with your fingers and can leave marks. Use a dense brush to blend quickly but thoroughly, then finish by patting with a sponge for a really good skin-like finish. •Because it's so matte, it dries quickly. After applying to your face, blend as fast as possible or apply and blend in sections. - lu*******Combination SkinAcne SkinFeb 3, 2018
Super affordable! Buying two is still just a third of the price of other foundations. I purchased both shades 520 and 530 for contouring, but honestly, there's not much difference in color. 520 just gives a slightly brighter look. The application is moisturizing, but the finish is completely matte. The staying power is pretty good for this price point. The coverage is not bad either. While it's a great value for money, it might leave foundation nomads still searching for that perfect affordable matte foundation. They'll circle around this one but probably won't settle. Despite having oily skin, I felt some deep dryness, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin. For long outings, I used to carry a zero-staying-power, glowy CC cushion for touch-ups. Surprisingly, it balances well with this foundation.
