I asked for a product that brightens while exfoliating and bought this based on the recommendation. It was just okay. After using about 2/3 of it, my complexion didn't get worse at least. Since it's not sticky, I applied it a lot during summer. It has a subtle hydrating feel and comes in a luxurious glass pump bottle. I was happy it contains glutathione, which I like. Despite being an exfoliating serum, it has no exfoliating effect at all. Also, while it provides subtle hydration, it doesn't give that intense moisture boost. And the brightening effect was minimal. The texture is thin, but it feels moisturizing when applied. There's also a hint of vitamin C scent! While I'm not sure if it's excellent for dead skin cell removal, I'm personally satisfied with this product. It's not sticky and feels pleasantly hydrating. If you're looking for a product with a rich feel, this might not be for you. It doesn't seem to have much of an oily texture at all. Those with very dry skin might find it a bit weak in winter, but as someone with dry skin who uses various products, I actually found it absorbs well without pilling. This is a great product for layering if you're someone who diligently applies toner, emulsion, essence, and cream! It's great for improving complexion - truly a top-notch product! It contains AHA ingredients, and after switching from Etude's peeling serum to this one, I find it much gentler with excellent sebum control. It doesn't sting my eyes either. No drawbacks whatsoever! However, since it's a peeling serum, sunscreen is a must the next day. When I didn't use sunscreen (because I couldn't find one that suited me), my skin texture and tone definitely improved, but I noticed a few dark spots appearing. It absorbs or evaporates quickly, which might leave your skin feeling a bit dry. This product can be too harsh if used as the first step in your skincare routine. I highly recommend this for those in their 20s with combination skin. It's like magic - even if you apply it hastily, it somehow manages to improve your skin! It feels more hydrating than oily, leaving your skin comfortably moisturized. I think it's also effective in smoothing out dead skin cells. It's perfect for daily use! I'm definitely repurchasing. It's my holy grail! If I had to point out any drawbacks, it would be the price and the scent... The fragrance is quite odd. It's like they mixed something in to cover up a synthetic rubber smell? It works great when applied both morning and night! I love it!

I've tried many products with exfoliating ingredients due to dead skin cells and flakiness in spring, fall, and winter. I didn't notice any extraordinary effects with this one. I'm writing this review after almost finishing the product. It has a mucus-like texture with small particles, so I used it in place of toner. When applied, it absorbs well like a toner. It's disappointing that it only has three ingredients. Unfortunately, it doesn't control oil well. Even after long-term use, there's no noticeable reduction in dead skin cells. These days, there are many products that effectively tackle dead skin cells, so I'd recommend those instead. Look for products with AHA or BHA! It's good to use this like a toner after cleansing. I tried a sample and loved it, so I snagged it during a sale! It's quite runny, so you need to be careful when applying to prevent dripping. However, it absorbs into the skin nicely and doesn't dry out quickly, leaving my face feeling hydrated for a long time. That's what I really appreciated about it! The absorption is excellent. Like most peeling products, consistent use is key to see results. After about a month of use, I noticed a significant reduction in dead skin cells. While there wasn't a dramatic transformation, it's definitely an essence I want to keep using regularly. The formula is so watery that it tends to run off easily. If you have dry skin, you'll definitely need to pair this with a more moisturizing product.

The texture is quite fluid, almost to the point of running, but it spreads evenly over a large area with just a small amount. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness. The pink packaging is really pretty. When I wake up the next morning after using it at night, my skin texture feels smooth and soft. I also get the impression that my complexion looks brighter. The entire Clear C line seems to be great. I have thin, sensitive skin, so I was initially worried about irritation from an exfoliating serum, but this seems gentler than most peeling products. No blemishes appeared, which is great. I was lucky to snag it at a 40% discount from the AP mall, making it quite a bargain. While it might work well for those with oily skin, people with very dry skin should probably avoid it. It doesn't have much of a rich feel. I've heard that it can increase skin sensitivity during the day, so I only apply it at night as a precaution. As it's a serum, I skip the toner and emulsion steps and apply this right after cleansing. It absorbs quickly and leaves almost no sticky feeling. The next day, I notice very little sebum production as well.
