I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin types. As someone with severe acne-prone skin, applying this in summer made my face feel hot and uncomfortable. It leaves a rich, film-like finish that seems to trap heat underneath. That's why I only use it as a night cream on extremely cold winter days.

I absolutely adore the scent of this product. It has Aveda's signature natural fragrance that's not bothersome at all. The texture is moisturizing, and it leaves your skin feeling like it's wrapped in a protective veil.
