I absolutely adore the scent of this product. It has Aveda's signature natural fragrance that's not bothersome at all. The texture is moisturizing, and it leaves your skin feeling like it's wrapped in a protective veil. I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin types. As someone with severe acne-prone skin, applying this in summer made my face feel hot and uncomfortable. It leaves a rich, film-like finish that seems to trap heat underneath. That's why I only use it as a night cream on extremely cold winter days. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 4, 2023
It absorbs incredibly well and isn't too thick, so I really enjoyed using it While it shouldn't be applied around the eyes, if it accidentally gets in, it stings quite badly - sp*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2022
It absorbs beautifully and the texture is absolutely divine. The natural fragrance from the plant-based ingredients is also delightful. Plus, the hydration lasts for hours! I wouldn't recommend this to those who dislike rich formulas. Also, the scent might be hit or miss for some people. For best results, apply this Aveda Soft Cream within 5 minutes after cleansing, right after your toner. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 8, 2021
The scent is reminiscent of a typical ointment fragrance. The texture is a well-balanced cream formula, which absorbs well. It provides excellent hydration and has long-lasting effects. Personally, this is the best moisturizer I've used so far among all the products I've tried. I haven't found any drawbacks yet. I highly recommend it! After your basic skincare routine, when your skin feels dry, apply a generous amount. The hydration seems to last for a long time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinNov 15, 2020
The scent is satisfying, but that's about it. Absolutely do not buy this! Don't be fooled by the brand name. I applied this product just once, and my face started tingling. I'm usually not sensitive, but this is the first time I've had such a reaction to an emulsion. Checking a cosmetics app, I found it contains 3 cautionary ingredients and a whopping 7 potential allergens. I've never seen a product with so many allergy-triggering components before. Moreover, it's not even rich in texture but feels greasy. Even for my nearly dry skin, it feels oily. If you're looking for a thick, hydrating healing cream, skip this one immediately. Unfortunately, I can't return it since I've used it once. Given its price for just 50ml, I'm wondering if I should just use it on my hands and feet. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 22, 2020
1. The sophisticated green herbal scent is luxurious 2. It's easy to apply lightly and absorbs well quickly Not sufficient when you want to finish with just one cream Essential oil is necessary for dry skin - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2020
I found the Soft version suits my skin better than the Rich one. It absorbs quickly when applied, and it feels like it tackles deep dryness effectively. Except for the dead of winter, I use this as an emulsion alternative. In summer, I even use it for night care, applying a light layer of oil over it! However, I tend to prefer textures similar to the Real Barrier cream, so this one feels a bit thin for me. It seems most suitable as a daily morning moisturizer for spring or early fall. When used with foundations for very oily skin like Double Wear, it works fine in midsummer, but on windy days in early autumn, I feel a bit concerned about its effectiveness... - ki*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 23, 2019
The absorbs well was incredibly smooth. My skin felt comfortable, and when I checked the next day or after some time, it was smooth with no bumps. The scent was natural and pleasant. A small amount was enough for one use, so it lasted quite a while. This has become my holy grail product. The price is a bit disappointing when considering repurchasing. It feels a bit expensive to buy without hesitation. Other than that, no complaints! I applied jojoba oil in the previous skincare step, and it seems to work well together with this product. My skin really improved. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 7, 2019
The texture is a nice balance between gel and cream. It applies smoothly like a gel, making it comfortable even for sensitive skin. I've used it as a sleeping mask by applying multiple thick layers before bed, and my skin felt soft and refreshed the next morning. Since it's not overly rich, it worked particularly well for me. The price point is a bit steep. If it were a little more budget-friendly, I'd definitely make it a staple in my skincare routine. It seems you can use it as a mask by layering it on multiple times before sleep. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 14, 2019
Gentle, absorbs well, not sticky, quick-absorbing, and leaves skin feeling firm and supple After some time, it can make skin a bit oily, but that's typical for most creams... I occasionally mix it with aloe vera
