The soft formula seems to suit me better than the rich one. When I apply it, it glides on smoothly and absorbs quickly, leaving behind a non-greasy feel. Except for the dead of winter, I often use this as a lotion substitute, and in the summer, I sometimes use it as a night care product, followed by a light oil application!
Cons
However, I tend to prefer a thicker, more creamy texture like the Real Barrier Cream, so this one feels a bit too thin for me. That's why I think it works best as a morning daily product in the spring or early fall. And when I use it with a long-wear, matte foundation like Double Wear, it's fine in the height of summer, but on windy days in early fall, I do get a bit worried about it.

The Life Cream is the only cream I can use continuously without getting tired of it! I absolutely love the signature Aveda herbal scent! True to its name, the Soft Cream has a very lightweight texture - it's like a cream-lotion hybrid that absorbs even better than a regular lotion. I also really like the sleek, well-designed case. I never get bored of using just this one product, as Aveda skincare products keep me hooked. The scent provides an uplifting mood boost, and the products absorb so well. The basic care routine just sticks! And it's so moisturizing.
Cons
Hmm, but looking at the ingredients, it's a bit disappointing... :( Please make a larger size as the quantity is a bit small. Since the texture is so soft, it would be great if it came in a squeeze tube for more hygienic application.
Tip
I also like to add a few drops of the Aveda oil and use it that way. It's wonderful to apply the cream on top of a face mask, then flip it over and use it as a cream mask. + Highly recommend the matching mist from the same line...

The spreadability is refreshing and it absorbs well! Those who have used Belif Moisture Bomb will likely find this to be a smooth fit! The soft cream itself also has slightly more moisturizing power than Belif, and I didn't experience any particular troubles after using it ~ And I personally like the fragrance, so I've been using it well.
Cons
