I find that applying it with my hands works best, but the brush was also good^^ Since it's matte, it pairs well with matte foundations, but I found it didn't work as well as a concealer over dewy bases - it tends to slip and slide on those. And since it's a lighter shade, applying it thinly in the center of the face made it feel even lighter than foundation, which was great for the current COVID situation.
ConsFor those with dry skin, it might feel quite matte.
TipFor targeted areas, try dotting it on with the edge of a sponge~

Wow... the Radiant Creamy Concealer wasn't bad either, and I can see why it's so popular - it applies so smoothly. But this, this Soft Matte Complete Concealer is the real deal. It melts into the skin like butter, gliding on smoothly and evenly without drying out or caking. It just seamlessly blends in with a thin, natural finish. I recommended it to a friend, and she gave me great feedback, saying it even smoothed out the bumpy pores on the side of her nose.
ConsBoth the Radiant Creamy Concealer and this one have the Sheer Glow shade, so I can't use them as regular concealers and have to stick to using them to brighten under my eyes. The rubbery texture that plagues all Nars products is just the worst... (I'm only happy on the day I buy a new one. Is that why they keep telling me to buy more?)
TipTips? No, I don't need any tips. Out of the countless concealers out there, just picking this product is the real tip. Get this one. Oh, and make sure to get the right shade.

I used the flat concealer brush and mainly used it to cover dark circles under the eyes, wrinkles, and blemishes on the cheeks. It applied thinly and adhered well, and the coverage was excellent, so I really liked it!! The color is a very bright ivory, around shade 18, and it was bright enough to use as a highlighter on the bridge of the nose, chin, and forehead.
ConsThere's really nothing disappointing about it at the moment! I'm already on my second tube.
Tip-After applying foundation, use a thin, flat concealer brush to apply it thinly and evenly under the eyes and on blemishes. At the end, dab with a sponge to smooth out any brush strokes. -Apply a thin layer to the sides of the nose and under the eyes before foundation, and the coverage will be even better👍🏻

It has high coverage and is very soft.
ConsThe price is a bit disappointing, and the amount is too much. Other than that, it's perfect.

The adhesion, longevity, and coverage were all good, and it applied thinly and was not drying even though it's a compact type, so it can be used in the winter. The liquid type seems to be even drier than this.
ConsThere's nothing disappointing. If I had to pick one, it would be the price..?
TipUsing it with a water-moistened sponge is really good.

And those good points don't seem to be specific to this product, but rather characteristics of the pot-type. The coverage is good, but you have to apply it over foundation for it to cover well. Otherwise, it disappears when you apply foundation.
ConsIf you don't apply it with a brush, it keeps coming off. But I don't like the hassle of cleaning the brush, so I don't use it often. And even if you don't prep the skin well, it still looks a bit patchy when applied. Also, since it's not a hydrating type, when you apply it on the dark circles, it does cover them, but the skin expression doesn't look very pretty.
TipCompared to the NARS stick-type concealer, I liked the stick-type much better, and I'll probably use this one longer, but it's more of a waste of money. So I'd recommend the stick-type! But the stick-type is better to apply before foundation, so if you get the stick-type, it's better to get one that's similar to your skin tone. And if you want to get this Soft Matte concealer, it's better to get one that matches your foundation color.

It applies thinner than creamy concealers 2. The amount is quite generous 3. No darkening 4. It provides decent coverage even when just dotted on bare skin 5. The skin expression becomes beautiful a few hours after application Many people use the vanilla shade, but if you have reddish skin like an 18th shade, the Chantilly shade would be perfect. The vanilla has a pink base, so it doesn't cover redness very well.
ConsI haven't used anything like this before, and even though I have sensitive skin, no breakouts have occurred so far, so it seems to be good. Among the concealers I've used so far, this is a holy grail product for me. However, I dislike the matte case. It gets too dirty.
TipOverall, applying it with your fingers is better than using a brush. For targeted application, a brush is better.

ConsThe pore coverage seems a bit lacking, and the adhesion might be a little weaker.
TipSince I have a larger application area, applying it with my hands made it too thick, and using a concealer brush was also a bit of a hassle, but using an air puff worked out reasonably well!

Go straight to the store and test it out! It's a real hit! The coverage is amazing, and it applies so thinly! There are so many colors, so go to the store and test them out to find the right one for you! I used to not use concealer much, but a few years ago, I started getting really painful pimples on my cheeks and jawline, and I was really struggling with it. I kept debating whether I should get a concealer, and then I heard this product from NARS came out, so I went to the duty-free store with a friend and tested it, and it's truly the best! I'll definitely buy it again once I run out!
ConsHmm...the disappointing part is...I don't have any yet.
TipI heard the pot type is supposed to be applied with a brush, so I bought a Lohbs brush and tried it, but I actually found that using my fingertips to gently dab it on the problem areas worked much better for coverage! The brush kind of leaves an uneven finish, you know? But the brush was good for the under-eye area! If you're really struggling with coverage, you should definitely test it out and get it! I haven't had any breakouts at all since using it - I don't think I could go out without this now!
