As expected, it's a matte type but applies lightly and as it's a pot type, the cost-effectiveness is a plus!
ConsSince it's winter, my skin has become so dry that it cakes horribly. The caking around the nose area is quite severe..? If I do a thorough skincare routine and then apply it, it should be fine!

ConsPot-type foundations are usually more coverage-effective than liquid ones, but I've tried both the Nars liquid and pot-type, and the coverage is similar. It's about average coverage. The pot-type does apply thinly, but the adherence is really poor. Only the parts I applied show up. It's not that the color doesn't match, but the poor adherence makes it look patchy. It starts to lift over time, and it lifts right away when I apply it with a brush lol The price-to-volume ratio is relatively affordable, but since the volume is too large for me, I feel like I'm not getting my money's worth and it's a waste.
TipI still haven't found the right one. Even after brushing and patting with a sponge, it lifts lol

It should last you for about 3 years, as long as the expiration date is not an issue.
ConsIt cakes and dries up when trying to cover blemish scars! The coverage also breaks down significantly. When applied with foundation, the concealer shows through over time. I have a cool skin tone.
TipInstead of feeling like you're applying it, try gently patting the concealer on top of the blemishes with a brush for better results.

And those good points don't seem to be specific to this product, but rather characteristics of the pot-type. The coverage is good, but you have to apply it over foundation for it to cover well. Otherwise, it disappears when you apply foundation.
ConsIf you don't apply it with a brush, it keeps coming off. But I don't like the hassle of cleaning the brush, so I don't use it often. And even if you don't prep the skin well, it still looks a bit patchy when applied. Also, since it's not a hydrating type, when you apply it on the dark circles, it does cover them, but the skin expression doesn't look very pretty.
TipCompared to the NARS stick-type concealer, I liked the stick-type much better, and I'll probably use this one longer, but it's more of a waste of money. So I'd recommend the stick-type! But the stick-type is better to apply before foundation, so if you get the stick-type, it's better to get one that's similar to your skin tone. And if you want to get this Soft Matte concealer, it's better to get one that matches your foundation color.

ConsHmm...over time, it seems to turn slightly yellow. I have an extremely oily skin type, and it just floats on my face when I apply it. I switched from a liquid concealer because this one was supposed to be matte, but it actually sits on my skin much more than the liquid one did. I carried it around to touch up, but it just slides off my greasy face and doesn't apply well. I think the liquid concealer has much better coverage.
TipIt doesn't apply smoothly with my fingers, and it's practically impossible to apply with a brush. I ended up just using the little brush that came with the liquid concealer, and that worked the best for getting good coverage. But it still floats on my skin! Oily skin is just not a good match for this.

I had a previous experience using The Face Shop's concealer where my skin ended up irritated (just the areas I applied it became red and I got small pimples). I really agonized a lot before buying this, but compared to drugstore brands, the price range is higher and the color selection is wider, so I wasn't sure what to get. But I'm so happy with it! The most important thing is that my skin didn't react at all when I used the concealer, so I've decided to repurchase it once I run out! But the amount in the tube is also quite a lot, so I'm not sure when I'll finish it!!! I mainly use it with a concealer brush to cover blemishes or small acne scars, and if I'm not applying it all over, the amount is really generous..👍 The coverage is unbeatable. I use a foundation with pretty poor coverage (Revlon Whipped Cream, Clinique Cushion), but when I apply this concealer on the areas that weren't covered, it makes it look like I had no blemishes to begin with ㅜㅜㅜ Acne scars just disappear..! I have a fair skin tone around shade 22, so I'm using the cream beige shade and it matches perfectly! It covers so naturally ㅜㅜㅜ
ConsYou'll need to purchase a separate concealer brush, as one isn't included. Also, I didn't feel like the staying power was that great.. If you layer a cushion foundation on top, it kind of disappears.
TipApplying it in a thin, two-layer application makes it look more natural and better!

I bought the brightest shade of Shangti, and I had gone to buy a liquid product, but I changed my mind at the store. Anyway, the price was the same and it's almost summer, so I thought my face would get oily. The concealer from drugstores or roadshops that's supposed to be the brightest is often dull or too yellow, and the Maybelline Fair shade I was using would darken and crumble, making me shed tears inside as I spent a fortune on the NARS one, but I'm satisfied with it. Apparently, it's a bit thicker than the liquid one? The store employee said the coverage is a bit better. It covers redness from blemishes and uneven skin tone nicely. It covers small bumps from acne well too. The staying power is good and there's no darkening or caking. In the winter, my skin is dry even with moisturizing (it gets oily over time), but in the summer, my skin is oily even without moisturizing.
ConsIt's matte. In the winter, it dries up and cakes. When I apply it with a brush, it cakes on me. The sponge puff seems to have weak coverage, and it works best when applied with just my fingers. If you have dry skin like me, make sure the area you're applying it to is well-moisturized and dewy before applying. If it cakes, it just looks kind of whitish and floating... It's hard to spread all over the face, so it's better to just do targeted areas.

ConsThe pore coverage seems a bit lacking, and the adhesion might be a little weaker.
TipSince I have a larger application area, applying it with my hands made it too thick, and using a concealer brush was also a bit of a hassle, but using an air puff worked out reasonably well!

It's incomparable to The Face Shop.. I wish I had used this from the beginning ㅠ My skin was doing well but then it got messed up because of The Face Shop, so I settled on NARS..
ConsIt's a bit drying and if you don't have a solid skincare routine, it can get cakey and flaky. You really need to focus on your skincare routine!
TipThe sales associate at the store said it's better to apply it with your hands. It's fine to apply it before and after foundation, but if you want higher coverage, I'd recommend applying it both before and after foundation.
