The hydration is top-notch. When you apply this product, even cracked lips heal completely. I have relatively dry skin and have tried other products, but this one is by far the best. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2021
As someone who always gets asked if I'm sick when I don't wear lip tint or lipstick, I've tried countless night lip balms. Even after slathering them on before bed, I'd wake up to a dead skin cell party. My lips were so stubborn, they'd earned the nickname 'rim rice cake' - soaking them didn't help, and the flakes would stubbornly cling on. I'd resigned myself to a flaky mess when wearing matte lipsticks, but then I found this gem and saw the light! The first night I used it, I woke up feeling something weird and sticky on my lips. I thought, 'What the heck?' and wiped my lips, only to realize it was all dead skin cells! Once I removed them, my lips were incredibly smooth and hydrated! I couldn't believe it worked overnight, so I used it consistently for a week before bed. My lips regained their pink hue, and I didn't have any flaking all day long! I expected the texture to be thick, but it transforms into a moisturizing consistency when it touches the lips. Over time, the initial thickness fades away. At first, I thought it was disappearing and applied more, but that just made it bunch up uncomfortably when I talked. Moderation is key. I love that it's fragrance-free. While I haven't tried it for daily use, the overnight results are so impressive that I'll definitely repurchase when I run out! I haven't found any significant downsides yet. If I had to nitpick, maybe the plastic tip of the container? Product tends to accumulate there, so you have to wipe it clean, which can be a bit of a hassle. But that's really minor. For nighttime use, don't glob it on. Just apply a moderate amount before bed, and wake up to flake-free, hydrated lips! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2021
It truly softens your lips and eliminates dead skin cells. The more you apply, the better the hydration becomes. The quantity is small and it's hard to find. Since it's only sold overseas, the price tends to be on the higher side. - x1*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 11, 2020
Recently, my lips were so dry and flaky, it was like shedding skin. But I received this product as a gift, and after applying it generously before bed and washing my face in the morning, I was amazed at how quickly it transformed my lips overnight. They became incredibly soft, with no dead skin cells in sight. I was truly shocked at how much the condition improved! It feels a bit heavy for a daily lip balm, so I'd recommend applying it generously just before bedtime! - hj***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedDec 16, 2019
I can't understand why this isn't sold in Korea. I stumbled upon it in France 5 years ago and discovered a whole new world of lip balms. As someone who's been battling lip dryness and peeling since kindergarten, especially during seasonal changes, I've tried every lip balm on the market. In my 20s, I started experiencing allergic reactions and dead skin cells on my lips when using lipsticks, which was painful. This Eucerin lip balm is the only product that's soothed that discomfort (even Uriage couldn't solve it!). Since it's not available in Korea, I've reluctantly been using its sister product, Aquaphor lip balm (which is still the most effective among those sold in Korea). I just found this product in Germany after 5 years and was so excited that I had to write a review on Hwahae... But why has the price increased to 8 euros? The price... and the fact that it's not sold in Korea. Is international shipping the only answer? - rl**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDec 4, 2017
It wasn't bad. Just an okay moisturizer that gets the job done. I received this as a gift and used it, but it's unfortunate that it's an overseas purchase product. Take an appropriate amount and apply it to hydrate your skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2017
It's gentle, moisturizing, and lovely. I used it without any issues~ There's nothing particularly bad about it. It's just light, absorbs quickly, and provides good hydration. - ro****Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2017
Please!!! I desperately wish this product would be officially imported to Korea. While living abroad for about a year, my lips suddenly became extremely dry, with peeling skin persisting for over 3 months. After applying this product, the symptoms improved by the very next day. (I later found out it was a side effect from an Aritaum lip tint.) It's great for slathering on generously to soften dead skin cells, and convenient to carry in your pocket for frequent application. Although it's available in Korea through proxy buying, the price difference is more than double... Currently, I'm using The Face Shop products out of necessity, but if this were officially imported, I'd switch to it in a heartbeat! There are no real drawbacks. If I had to mention something, it's that the product is unscented, but even unscented products can have a slight scent that might be hit or miss for some people.
