I've been using this product for about 3 months now. As someone who suffers from cheilitis, I usually apply Vaseline daily. However, whenever I notice early symptoms of cheilitis (itching around the lip line and dead skin cells forming), I make sure to apply a thin layer of this product before bed. While cheilitis affects everyone differently, in my case, it's often triggered by cosmetic allergies and dust. When this happens, it's crucial to intensely hydrate the area to soothe it (which gradually reduces the itching). I only use this product when I have cheilitis symptoms, and after about 3 days of consistent use, I'm pleased to see the redness around my lip line significantly diminish. I'm always concerned about hygiene with this product. I used to have a small spatula, but it disappeared after a trip. Since then, I've been using cotton swabs, but even when I had the spatula, I worried about contamination. I would scoop out a small amount, but the spatula would inevitably touch my lips during application. I'm cautious about potentially introducing bacteria from my cheilitis back into the container, risking contamination. While the small container is great for portability, it also presents an unavoidable hygiene challenge due to its size. If cheilitis causes dead skin cells to form, gently rinse your lips with warm water and carefully (never forcefully) remove the flakes. Then, apply a thin layer of this product over your entire lips. You'll notice a visible reduction in dead skin cells by the next morning.

During cold seasons, my lips used to get extremely dry, and even with lip balm, dead skin cells were very noticeable. However, this product has an oil-balm texture that prevents moisture loss and keeps lips hydrated for a long time. When I apply it generously before bed and wipe it off the next morning, unlike my previous lip balms, the dead skin cells disappear, making my makeup application so satisfying. The oil-based formula might feel a bit heavy when applying generously before bed.

That's why I felt an even more desperate need for a lip mask. After first using the Preef Oil Blossom Lip Mask with Camellia Oil, I was impressed by its sweet scent - a perfect blend of floral and cotton candy notes that gave me an instant feeling of relaxation. However, I thought those who dislike sweet fragrances might have mixed feelings about it. Personally, I absolutely loved it. I also wanted to give high marks for the generous 15g quantity and the included spoon, which allows you to apply the lip mask without directly touching it with your fingers. The ingredients, including camellia oil, moringa seed oil, argan oil, and other natural oils and pigments, made me trust the product even more for its gentleness and effectiveness. After applying it and sleeping for one night, I woke up to find that the visible dead skin cells had disappeared, leaving my lips smooth and revitalized. The color is a transparent light pink that adds a healthy glow to the lips, so I could even use it as a lip balm substitute during the day. Contrary to the misconception that lip masks are only for nighttime use, I loved that I could use this product both day and night. If you're considering buying a lip mask, I highly recommend this one! The sweet scent might not be everyone's cup of tea. However, once applied, it's not really bothersome. I always struggled with dead skin cells on my lips in the morning, wondering how to manage it. But applying this lip mask lightly before bed makes my lips incredibly soft the next day! It would be more convenient if the product had a twist-up mechanism at the back. Even a tiny amount works wonders both before and after makeup application.

It's giving me a reality check. Oh, and more importantly, I had the product wrong! Why did I think it was Laneige? I'm correcting it to the right one now. 1. Application: It's incredibly sticky and doesn't spread well. I never thought applying a product could be such a challenging task... 2. Stickiness: Wow, this and the Ryan lip balm I bought later are the champions of stickiness. You could probably use them as adhesive. I already dislike sticky textures, but this one... It's so pretty! The pink case is absolutely lovely. It's a real treat for the eyes. 1) It's a bit heavy, making it awkward to carry around. The case feels weighty - perhaps it's glass? While it's a beautiful lip balm, it's more of a product I keep at home for personal use. 2) It's slightly on the oily side, so I often apply it before bed. But if you ask me whether it's better than Vaseline, I'd say not really. As someone with sensitive skin around the mouth and prone to flaking, this product is fantastic. It calms down dead skin cells, keeps my skin hydrated, and works wonders. As someone with chronically dry lips year-round, I've tried countless highly-recommended products, but I've finally settled on this one. For daily use, I apply just a tiny amount, but at night before bed, I slather on a thick layer for maximum effect. It's been a game-changer! My lips were so dry I could barely wear lipstick, but thanks to this product, I'm now confidently rocking lip colors again. So far, I haven't found any downsides... I guess it's true that cosmetics really do work differently for everyone.

I found this oil and applied it last night before bed. Wow! Where did all my dead skin cells go? My lips became incredibly hydrated. It's amazing! This product is liquid gold, everyone! Please apply this strictly to your lips only. The ingredients list contains two acne-triggering components, so be careful and use it exclusively on your lips. Apply it before bed or at least 30 minutes before putting on makeup. It works wonders even with matte lipsticks. It's incredibly moisturizing! The scent is lovely, and as soon as I applied it, I knew my lips wouldn't crack anymore. I'm disappointed I only discovered this product as winter was ending. What a shame!
