This has been my favorite hair mask for years. After using it, my hair feels like I've just had a professional treatment at a salon. The price is wickedly high, and it seems to work better when used as part of a set. The thick consistency means you have to spend a long time massaging it in, which can be a bit of a hassle. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 9, 2019
When I first used it, it felt like my hair was becoming softer and more nourished I bought the 1000ml size and used it a few times, but my hair kept getting stiff. My hairstylist scolded me, so I stopped using it. It seems you really need to use the matching shampoo, but that's incredibly expensive too... I still don't quite understand how to use it properly. My hair keeps getting stiff and actually seems damaged... I'm not sure if I should continue using this product... - ca*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 14, 2018
This is the best treatment I've ever used. It's even more effective than salon treatments. It's so expensive. For this price, I could buy several other treatments. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 11, 2018
The homepage advertises it as highly concentrated, and it really does feel like a potent treatment. When you apply it, there's a thick, rich texture. After blow-drying, your hair becomes incredibly well-behaved... though the effects don't last too long. When you purchase, they include shampoo and essence balm samples. The essence balm was particularly nice. If you leave a review, they send you a complimentary soothing treatment, I believe. If you post a video review, they give you something else. With three stages of freebies, if you write good reviews, you can score some high-end products - it's a great deal! After using this consistently, even my hairstylist at the salon asked if I'd been taking care of my hair... When touching it, it does feel nourished, but she said it was dry and recommended using oil. The biggest drawback is the price... And surprisingly, the ingredients aren't as good as I thought. So disappointing! When I bought it, it wasn't listed on Hwahae, so I just went for it... But now, I won't be repurchasing. - sy********Combination SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2017
Love it! You can visibly see my hair recovering! The scent is a bit disappointing. It doesn't smell very pleasant, unfortunately. - hr****Dry SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2017
Oh, this is really great! The scent is nice, and the texture is incredibly rich. After applying and letting it sit, when I wash my hair, it feels so soft. Usually, after washing and drying, my hair becomes dry and frizzy, but with this, it stays moisturized and calm even after drying. The price, haha! As effective as it is, the price is devilishly high, whew! Also, the container is inconvenient to use. It gets messy and sticky... Recommended for extremely damaged hair. If your hair is only slightly damaged, it might be too expensive to justify using. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 22, 2017
I bought this expensive product for home care due to frequent bleaching and dyeing. When I use it as a treatment, my hair texture definitely improves. The price is too high. I'll have to think twice about repurchasing it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 13, 2017
This is hands down the best hair pack I've ever used... My hair is naturally fine and quite damaged, usually getting even thinner after coloring, but this product has made a huge difference. I've been loyal to this brand since their previous company, having used over 7 bottles. They have a daily use version and a thicker, more intensive hair pack - both are excellent. For best results, you really need to work it into your hair with your hands multiple times, applying heat. I absolutely recommend it! Since using this, I've been able to get color treatments or perms at the salon without needing additional treatments. Sigh... the price is really hard to ignore. However, when you consider that a single hair clinic treatment at a salon costs around $150, it's actually not expensive at all. They have promotional periods when it's cheaper. Even when there's no sale, it's always more economical to buy in bulk. It's such a good product that I just buy multiple at once... You can request samples, so try it out before purchasing. - pt*****Combination SkinJun 13, 2017
1. Quick treatment time 2. Easy application method 3. Significantly superior results compared to regular treatments 4. Pleasant, subtle fragrance that's not overpowering 1. The price is the biggest drawback. 2. For extremely damaged hair, using it once or twice a week isn't enough. It needs to be used every other day, but that's far too expensive... 3. At around $80 for 150ml, the value for money is really poor Let's compare it with Mucota. I occasionally use the Mucota 4-step treatment at home, and compared to that, Mayuda's simplicity is a huge advantage! But apart from that, I'd recommend Mucota. I'm not too concerned about ingredients in hair products (it's hard to be picky when we've already damaged our hair with coloring and perms...). Of course, I do pay attention to products that touch the scalp! Anyway, - With Mucota, one thorough treatment can keep even extremely damaged hair in great condition for up to 2 weeks, without needing additional treatments when shampooing. - Mayuda seems to last about 2 days max. Right after use, the hair feels amazing, but by the day after next, it's back to feeling like a broom when shampooing, which was disappointing. If Mayuda was priced at around $10-$20 for 200ml, I'd use it daily or every other day... and then it would truly be the best treatment out there... But at about $80 for 150ml, it's just not worth it. I'd recommend it for those who regularly go to salons for treatments, but it's just too expensive for regular use at home. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMay 3, 2017
I've used four bottles of this, and let me tell you, it's twice as effective as getting a Mucota treatment at the salon! The price is the only downside. The quantity is decent though (I only used it twice a week, just for weekend dates, haha). There's a cuticle shampoo that, when used together with this, doubles the effectiveness.
